Jimmy Fallon Hospitalized, Has To Cancel Show

Don’t cry just yet.

Jimmy Fallon, 40, was hospitalized for a minor hand injury he sustained last night according to E!. The Tonight Show host was admitted to NYC hospital This morning, Friday June 26, after he hurt one of his hands.

“Jimmy Fallon was required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning,” the former Saturday Night Live star’s rep reports. “He is expected to make a full recovery.”

Even though his injury was not serious, he was forced to cancel the taping of the tonight’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Hey guys – unfortunately tonight’s taping has been cancelled due to Jimmy injuring his hand. He’s totally fine but we’ll be airing a repeat,” the show announced via Twitter. “If you had tickets to tonight’s show, we’ll be in contact with you to reschedule your tix.”

We are glad to hear the comedian is doing alright!
