ICYMI: Opinion| When the mainstream propaganda media wasn’t busy subverting President Trump’s efforts to protect the citizens he represents they turned their attention to undermining Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s visit to the Middle East.
We were told the only reason he was there was necessitated by the need to reassure our regional allies that the United States wasn’t abandoning them in the wake of our announced withdrawal of 2,000 troops from Syria.
Pompeo did indeed deliver a reassurance speech to our allies but not for the reason the anti-Trump media has reported.
It took Secretary of State Pompeo only five minutes to absolutely eviscerate the Islamic-centric policies of the Obama administration.
Referring to the so-called Arab Spring and the rise to power of the Muslim Brotherhood that resulted, Secretary Pompeo took the gloves off:
“Our leaders (Obama) gravely misread our history and your historical moment. These fundamental misunderstandings set forth in this city in 2009 adversely affected the lives of hundreds of millions of people in Egypt and all across the region.
Remember, it was here in this city (Cairo) that another American stood before you. He told you that radical Islamist terrorism does not stem from an ideology.
He told you that 9/11 led my country to abandon its ideals, particularly in the Middle East.
He told you that the United States and the Muslim world needed “a new beginning.”
The results of these misjudgements (ed. Comment: deliberate calculations?) have been dire.
[…]
We were timid in asserting ourselves when the times and our partners demanded it.
We grossly underestimated the tenacity and viciousness of radical Islamism – a debauched strain of the faith that seeks to upend every other form of worship or governance.
Secretary Pompeo went on to identify Obama as the root cause of unrest in the Middle East without mentioning the Manchurian president by name:
… we did nothing. Our eagerness to address only Muslims and not nations ignored the rich diversity of the Middle East and frayed old bonds.
It undermined the concept of the nation state, the building block of international stability.
[…]
When America retreats, chaos often follows. When we neglect our friends, resentment builds. And, when we partner with our enemies they advance.
The good news is this, the age of self-inflicted American shame is over and so are the policies that produced so much needless suffering.

Pompeo was in Cairo, in part, to commemorate the grand opening of the largest Christian Church in Egypt. Think about that.
Then think about the way our propagandist media negatively portrayed the Egyptian uprising that toppled the Muslim Brotherhood from power.

“They are truly the Opposition Party working with the Dems.”
Everyday it becomes equally apparent that the Dem’s are more aligned with the enemies of our Judeo-Christian society that they are with everyday Americans.
