Opinion| The top Republican on the House Oversight Committee, Representative Jim Jordan, stated on Sunday that he sees a huge double standard when it comes to President Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton and her Democratic cronies.
The Ohio Republican, who has been an ally of the President and his administration since the start, spoke to NBC “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd, explaining that the Committee’s Wednesday public hearing with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen seemed to focus on political drama, further outlining the clear difference between the way the Clinton campaign was “given a pass” and the way the Trump campaign was continually investigated, even after no evidence was found.
“What I know is there is not one bit of evidence to know any type of coordination, collusion, conspiracy whatsoever between the Trump campaign and Russia to impact the election,” Jordan stated.
“There is all kinds of evidence to show that the Clinton campaign worked with Russians to impact the elections, via that whole thing I just described where they fired the law firm who hired Fusion, who hired Christopher Steele, who communicated with Russians, and put together the fake dossier,” he continued.
Take a look at what Jordan had to say following Michael Cohen’s testimony:
The Hill reports:
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said Sunday that Michael Cohen’s testimony that he has never been to Prague “undermines” the so-called Steele dossier, which alleges connections between President Trump and Russia.
“He said that, and that’s something you can verify. You can look at passports, you can look at travel,” the conservative lawmaker said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” when asked if he believes that Cohen, who served as Trump’s personal attorney, has never been to Prague.
“So that undermines this whole dossier, which remember, was the basis for this whole crazy investigation to begin with,” Jordan added.

It sounds like once the Trump Russia farce is wrapped up, people like Nunez and Jordan are ready to turn the focus onto HRC and what her team did to orchestrate such events. Good things come to those who wait.
