Nancy Pelosi Demands President Trump Remove A Viral Twitter Video about Ilhan Omar’s 9/11 comments.
Opinion| House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she has been taking action to ensure the safety of democratic Representative Ilhan Omar after President Trump’s tweet on Friday pointing out Omar’s insensitive comments about 9/11.
Pelosi called on President Trump to take down his video that show’s how dismissive Omar was about the 9/11 tragedy that America will never forget.
The video is no longer pinned to the top of President Trump’s Twitter page, but he didn’t delete it. It’s unclear if he unpinned it for Pelosi or not.
The video highlights Omar’s comments that she recently made to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). She stated that the organization was founded right after 9/11 “because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”

Aside from her flippant response to 9/11, she has her facts wrong, CAIR was founded in 1994.
Democrats jumped on Donald Trump for posting this video that highlights Omar’s comments and points out the seriousness of what 9/11 was.
They accused the President of inciting violence against the Muslim lawmaker.
The White House stepped forward on Sunday to defend the President saying he has a duty to highlight Omar’s history of inappropriate comments and that he did not wish any “ill will” on the freshman Congresswoman.
Pelosi issued a statement saying she had spoken to congressional authorities, after she saw the President’s tweet, “to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff.”
“They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces,” Pelosi stated while calling on President Trump to rebuke this kind of behavior.
“The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video,” she continued.
President Trump slammed Nancy Pelosi on Twitter Monday for attacking him while she overlooks Ilhan Omar’s history of antisemitic comments.
Before Nancy, who has lost all control of Congress and is getting nothing done, decides to defend her leader, Rep. Omar, she should look at the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel and ungrateful U.S. HATE statements Omar has made. She is out of control, except for her control of Nancy!

White House Press Secretary questioned Democrats, asking why they didn’t follow President Trump’s example in calling out Omar for her antisemitism.
“Certainly the president is wishing no ill will and certainly not violence towards anyone, but the president is absolutely and should be calling out the congresswoman for her not only one time but history of anti-Semitic comments. The bigger question is, why aren’t Democrats doing the same thing? It’s absolutely abhorrent the comments that she continues to make and has made and they look the other way.”
