Elder Patriot Opinion| Kudos to all of those “fake” news sites that have been disparaged by the mainstream propaganda media and deplatformed and banned by the social media titans that have essentially admitted only the evisceration of the First Amendment can save their left wing allies and ideologies.
It’s been through their intrepid determination to expose the truth about the hard work and willingness to take on the forces of the establishment by much-maligned Republicans in Congress that our Republic will be preserved.
Judicial Watch has played a major part in bringing us to this point.
Because of Judicial Watch’s multiple FOIA requests, 339 pages of emails from Nellie Ohr’s private account to Department of Justice (DOJ) email accounts, investigators learned that Ms. Ohr sent reams of open-source intelligence to her husband, Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, and on some occasions to at least three DOJ prosecutors: Lisa Holtyn, Ivana Nizich and Joseph Wheatley.
The first brick in the foundation of the illicit construct to frame and depose Donald Trump in a coup d’etat fell last night when John Solomon reported that Nellie Ohr had been the subject of a criminal referral.

Evidence suggests that Ms. Ohr had been been the source of the raw research materials that former British spy Christopher Steele laundered into the Steele Dossier that alleged Donald Trump had been compromised by Russia.
While being questioned by House Republican Jim Jordan, Ms. Ohr admitted she was hired after she approached Glenn Simpson in September 2015.
Ms. Ohr: “I believe it was in September of 2015 that I read an article in the paper that mentioned Glenn Simpson. And I remembered because he had been a Wall Street Journal reporter working on things like Russian crime and corruption, so I recognized the name. I was underemployed at that time and I was looking for opportunities.”
Her prior employment included time working for Open Source Works, a division of the CIA that uses open-source information to produce intelligence products.
Ms. Ohr: “Through most of 2008. And then starting in 2008, I worked for Open Source Works.”
Ms. Ohr didn’t provide the end date for employment with OSW. Clearly, though, she was a CIA asset, at least in some form.
What may be learned, should the Attorney General William Barr open a full criminal investigation of Ms. Ohr, is whether CIA Director John Brennan had any role in Ms. Ohr, a CIA asset, seeking employment with Fusion GPS.
It’s hard to envision a CIA asset, with Ms. Ohr’s skill set and authorization, being free to engage with anyone without prior approval.
According to those who have viewed the unredacted FISA applications against Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, the Steele Dossier was the foundational justification the FISC relied on to approve the surveillance warrants.
The dossier remains unverified.
While all of the granular details still need to be sorted through, it appears that Ms. Ohr had been contracted by Glenn Simpson, founder of Fusion GPS sometime around December 2015.
Ms. Ohr’s value came from her access to the NSA database that allowed her to conduct wide-ranging FISA(702) searches using “about queries” (option 17) and “To/From queries” (option 16).
Admiral Mike Rogers shutdown contractor access in early 2016 (March-April timeframe.)
Eventually, Ms. Ohr provided a memory stick containing the totality of her research files to her husband, the fourth highest-ranking official in the DOJ at the time.
This would allow the FBI, who her husband had been feeding her research to, with the raw data to continue using her work in an effort to extract more information to conflate against Trump.
This would essentially be the same strategy that Special Counsel Robert Mueller employed by injecting his 448-page report into the public consciousness so that Congressional Democrats could continue their witch-hunt against President Trump.
A simple declination letter would have served the public better.
To understand a political scandal fully, one must take into account all of the interests of those involved. The problem is that these interests are rarely revealed—which is precisely why it is so tempting for partisans, particularly if they are at a political disadvantage, to resort to scandal to attack their opponents. Many great scandals arise not as a means of exposing corruption, but as a means of attacking political foes while obscuring the political differences that are at issue. This is especially likely to occur in the aftermath of elections that threaten the authority of an established order. In such circumstances, scandal provides a way for defenders of the status quo to undermine the legitimacy of those who have been elected on a platform of challenging the status quo—diluting, as a consequence, the authority of the electorate.

Richard Nixon won a landslide electoral victory in 1972 and was removed from office less than two years later. – Jon Marini, Politics by Other Means: The Use and Abuse of Scandal
Nixon’s removal came not because his policies were rejected by the American people, the opposite was true, but because his removal became essential for the preservation of the status quo.
Do not let the mainstream propaganda media convince you otherwise.
