Meadows: We Are Submitting Up To 3 Criminal Referrals Against Hillary’s Pals At Fusion GPS

Elder Patriot – Speaking at an event hosted by the Washington Post yesterday, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) told the audience that House Republicans are planning to submit up to three criminal referrals against individuals associated with Fusion GPS.

Meadows: “I can tell you that there are two or three individuals [connected to Fusion GPS] that we believe could have potentially given false testimony to Congress.

We have been looking at that, reviewing not only the Mueller report, but comparing those to transcribed interviews that might have happened in Congress.”

Fusion GPS is the opposition research firm funded by the DNC, Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and perhaps by President Obama, that developed the anti-Trump Steele dossier.

Perkins Coie, the law firm representing the Clinton campaign, DNC, and according to recent revelations Obama, hired Fusion GPS in April 2016.

Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS, then engaged “former” British spy Christopher Steele to gather dirt on Donald Trump and his possible ties to Russia.

Steele eventually produced a 35-page “dossier” that was a compilation of reports gleaned from Russian sub-sources.

Those sources now appear to have supplied Steele with Russian disinformation claiming collusion between the Trump team and Russian government, raising questions as to exactly which campaign colluded with the Kremlin.

After an exhaustive investigation, Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence of a conspiracy between Trump, his campaign and the Russians.

Mueller, supposedly charged with investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, chose not to investigate Hillary Clinton’s team, or the DNC, for some reason.

Meanwhile, the FBI relied on the Steele Dossier almost exclusively, while making applications to the FISA court for surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Because of the two-jump rule, the result was a potentially expansive surveillance campaign targeting virtually everyone associated with Donald Trump – both before and after he became president.

Meadows confirmed the targets were related to Fusion GPS but declined to reveal the identities of those under consideration.

Meadows: “I do have great concerns on the role, not just Fusion GPS, but those associated with it played early on, and how was that used or not used as it relates to this investigation.”
