Elder Patriot – Opinion | Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA) is the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee.
Rep Collins has emerged as a major player in exposing the DOJ and the FBI’s role in the Spygate scandal that unlawfully targeted President Trump’s electoral campaign. This past week he released the transcripts of nine former DOJ and FBI officials:
Today I’m releasing the remaining interview transcripts from @JudiciaryGOP’s investigation into decisions made at the Department of Justice and FBI. To read the transcripts, visit https://t.co/EcAYT7JPdA. pic.twitter.com/kYy9YKSIZI

Collins wants the disinfectant of sunlight to let the truth out.
New York Congressman Jerrold Nadler is the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. His sole focus is on harassing President Trump by abusing his oversight authority.
Nadler dreams of finding an impeachable offense hidden somewhere in the wide net of subpoenas he’s issued.
However, he realizes he’ll have to settle for continuing the narrative that Orange man is bad while trying to stall the inevitable outcome that awaits the Spygate conspirators and Democrats whose orders those conspirators followed.
The only strategy open to Nadler is to maintain the lies as long as he can. Nadler knows that:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels on the Big Lie
That is the reason that Nadler publicly declares his intentions to subpoena Special Counsel Robert Mueller to testify but never will.
A few days ago, Collins accused Nadler of wanting the “theater but doesn’t want the truth”. Rep. Collins specifically highlighted how the Democrats in congress don’t want to present Robert Mueller for testimony.
Mueller likely served as a figurehead while his team of prosecutors, led by Andrew Weissmann, constructed the political narrative that, in conjunction with their media allies, was used to taunt President Trump and drive down his support.
One can only picture Mueller having to answer questions from the committee’s Republican members. Unless Mueller was prepared to perjure himself, it would turn ugly, fast.
The belief that that’s the case is bolstered by reports that Mueller’s former team also do not want him to testify.
Nadler fears the truth becoming known. In fact, his entire party can’t handle the truth becoming known.
Rep. Collins knows this. That’s why he’s literally daring Nadler to compel Mueller’s testimony:
It’s about time Americans hear the truth.
