Opinion| Michigan Democrat Representative Rashida Tlaib, well known for her vitriolic anti-Trump rhetoric, appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” this past Sunday.
During her interview, Tlaib told host Chuck Todd that House Democrats are working toward impeaching President Trump.
The Democratic Representative offered no evidence to back up her claim when she told Chuck Todd that Trump “subverts the United States Constitution everyday.”
As is usual with the liberals in the fake news media, the NBC host didn’t even push back on Democratic lawmaker’s claims.
He went on to question her as to why she was unable move the majority of House Democrats to join her in supporting impeachment of the President. She stated, “I think it is moving toward that. It’s going to demand that.”
Remember back to right after she was sworn into Congress in January when she promised to impeach “mother*cker Trump.”

The Gateway Pundit explains, “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has been beating the impeachment drum lately because she is being pressured by members of her Democrat House caucus to remove President Trump from office. Just hours after her dust-up with President Trump at the White House last Wednesday morning, Pelosi told a liberal conference in DC that Trump may have committed an ‘impeachable offense’ by ‘obstructing justice’ and engaging in a ‘cover-up.’”
Nancy Pelosi had formerly moved away from speaking about impeaching the President. But last week she began to join her fellow Democrats in pushing inflammatory rhetoric against the President.
“As they say, the cover-up is frequently worse than the crime,” Pelosi stated citing an impeachment article against former President Nixon.
Interestingly enough, by Thursday night Pelosi had moved away from impeachment talks. She stated after Trump shredded her on Thursday, “We’re not at that place.”
On Sunday, Senator Lindsey Graham claimed that Pelosi’s job was at risk since she is allowing her fellow Democrats to push her down the road of impeachment.
“Her job is very much at risk,” Graham explains during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday.” “Nancy Pelosi is riding a bucking, wild bronco called the Democratic caucus.”
“Seventy percent of the Democratic base wants President Trump impeached. She knows that impeachment would be political suicide because there’s no reason to impeach the president. So she’s trying to keep the party intact. If she goes down the impeachment road, Republicans take back the House, we keep the Senate, President Trump gets reelected,” Graham stated.
