Trump Shocks Comey: “I Will Be Declassifying. Yes, Everything”

President Donald Trump sent a warning to former FBI Director James Comey, saying that he intends to declassify documents that could prove the former director was behind the spying on his 2016 campaign on Fox News, The DailyMail reported.

“Finally, Mainstream Media is getting involved – too ‘hot’ to avoid. Pulitzer Prize anyone? The New York Times, on front page (finally), ‘Details effort to spy on Trump Campaign.’ @foxandfriends This is bigger than WATERGATE, but the reverse!” Trump tweeted.

“I will be declassifying, yes.” he said. “Everything.”

The president also made a point of calling out Comey for his New York Times Op-Ed from earlier in the week when he called the president “amoral.”

Trump made a point of blasting Comey, who called him ‘amoral’ in a New York Times Op-Ed this week.

“Comey leaked and he lied. He lied in front to Congress,” he said, reiterating the same sentiments that he cited about Comey from earlier in his presidency.

“I would say he probably led some kind of an effort,” Trump said of Comey. “The word ‘spying’ has been used. He probably was one of the people leading the effort on spying.”

“It could very well be true. We are going to find out pretty soon,” he said.

Comey took a pointed shot at Trump in an Op-Ed that was published in The New York Times in which he outlined how he believes that the president manipulates those around d him, something that he stood against and was punished for.

“People have been asking me hard questions,” Comey began by saying. “What happened to the leaders in the Trump administration, especially the attorney general, Bill Barr, who I have said was due the benefit of the doubt?

Comey went on to highlight times when he believes those close to the president have compromised their personal character in order to stay close to the powerful office of president.

“I have some idea from four months of working close to Mr. Trump and many more months of watching him shape others,” Comey went on, delving into his take on the physiological makeup of those in the administration.

“Amoral leaders have a way of revealing the character of those around them. Sometimes what they reveal is inspiring.

“Of course, to stay, you must be seen as on his team, so you make further compromises. You use his language, praise his leadership, tout his commitment to values.

“And then you are lost. He has eaten your soul.”
