OPINION Of II Writer – It’s often telling to watch the body language of deponents and interviewees to determine the belief they hold for the words they’re saying.
President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, appeared with Sean Hannity last night and displayed the jovial relief of a man who had been to hell and was finally back with the evidence to vindicate himself and the president.
Rudy: “I prosecuted corruption. Democrats and Republicans. I can smell this.
“I said, we’re not going to give you the billion.’
“They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said… I said call him. I said I’m telling you you’re not getting a billion dollars.
I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’”
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.
“Obama let this happen. When that article appears in the Times, any honest president would have called his vice president in and said, Joe, what are you doing?
I have the proof. And, I have the documents. And, I’ve got the witness to say the corroboration.
“There are more witnesses where he came from and they are not going to escape this Sean.
