Daniel Goldman, who has made huge campaign contributions to Democrats only and claims to be non partisan, claimed that the Steele Dossier was true over a year after the FBI found out that it was not true… but kept using it to attain FISA warrants against Carter Page so they could spy on President Trump.
Goldman is the lead investigator for Adam Schiff.
Well, now the facts are out and Goldman has been proven to be a liar. What will he say now?
Not much.
He was brave when he thought the Deep State could protect him but now he sees they can’t, you won’t hear much out of him. Goldman is as honest as the next person. But the next person is Adam Schiff so………….
Now, the IG report is in and Michael Horowitz has confirmed that the Steele Dossier is a fraud and Goldman’s claims about other evidence is invalid since those other sources come from the Steele Dossier such as the article written by Michael Isakoff.
It’s an old FBI trick. They leak a story to the press and then use that article to claim corroboration.
Goldman claimed the Steele dossier was true in a tweet in August 2018 attacking President Donald Trump as an “out and out liar.” Goldman tweeted: “Nothing in the dossier has proved to be false (including your pee tape).”
However, by then it was already clear that several details in the dossier — published before Trump’s inauguration by Buzzfeed, and then by CNN and others — were false, and nothing substantive had been proven true.
The IG report makes clear that the entire Steele dossier was untrue, and had been constructed from material provided to Steele by a “sub-source” who later disavowed the information he had provided to Steele — including the so-called “pee tape” — as mere jokes, speculations, and barroom banter.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) confronted Goldman with his anti-Trump tweet at the House Judiciary Committee hearing on Monday, after Goldman had declared, under oath: “I am not a partisan.”
