Already, two House Democrats have come out against the House’s biased and partisan leadership concerning the impeachment process, but the entire push sits in the hands of 31 Democrats who represent districts that were won by Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
The two Democrats with an ounce of sanity are Representatives Jeff Van Drew (D-NY) and Collin Peterson (D-MN), and they are expected to join all of the Republicans in the House to vote No on the baseless Schiff, Nadler, and Pelosi articles of impeachment when it goes to the floor for a vote.
The two Democrats who voted no on the partisan impeachment inquiry authorization vote—Reps. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) and Collin Peterson (D-MN)—are expected to again join all Republicans in the House in opposing the partisan articles of impeachment vote when it does come to the floor.
We reported on Van Drew’s decision to vote No, saying, “unless there’s something I haven’t seen,” he will be a no vote on impeaching President Donald Trump.
The big question is how many other Democrats, who won in Trump-won districts, will join the two?
We also reported on about a dozen moderate Democrats who suggested censuring Trump instead of going through impeachment, just to save their own seats. But the radical leftist, crazy Democrat leadership isn’t buying into it. They’re not listening, because they are convinced that impeaching Trump, even though it’s not expected the Senate will vote to remove him from office, is a way to tarnish the president in the 2020 election.
The entire impeachment process has been to interfere in the 2020 election.
Of the dozen or so recommending censure, “Those Democrats, all representing districts that Trump won in 2016, huddled on Monday afternoon in an 11th-hour bid to weigh additional — though unlikely — options to punish the president for his role in the Ukraine scandal as the House speeds toward an impeachment vote next week. The group of about 10 members included Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.), Anthony Brindisi (D-N.Y.), and Ben McAdams (D-Utah.),” reported Politico.

As Trump’s approval rating continues to rise, it becomes more and more clear that these 31 Democrats are in real trouble if they vote to impeach. There’s no chance the Democrats will convince at least 20 Senate Republicans to flip and vote to remove. In fact, there are currently zero, zip, nada, not one Republican who will join Democrats in the Senate trial, should one arise. In fact, there may be some Senate Democrats will who join Republicans and vote against removing Trump from office.
The Democrats are boxed into a corner. Their radical wing demands they get rid of Trump, and the sane wing demands they stop committing political suicide. The problems Democrats are facing are all happening because of who they chose to be in leadership. Nancy Pelosi will go down as the worst, most partisan Speaker of the House, in our nation’s history, who for the first time impeached a president for literally doing nothing wrong.
