The IG report seems to have a lot of information in it and there are many players who were not acting in good faith.
Peter Strzok being one of them.
Bill Priestap wanted Strzok removed from the Russia Collusion Hoax.
But not for the reason he should have been removed from the case. Both Strzok and Lisa Page were to report to Priestap, but apparently they had been reporting to Andrew McCabe and thus were ignoring the chain of command.
Priestap then requested Strzok’s removal but the request was denied by McCabe. Evidently, McCabe wanted to be in total command of the investigation.
I’m sure he wasn’t influenced by the fact that his wife was running for congress and got a huge contribution of over four hundred thousand dollars from the Clinton’s bagman…
So the question becomes, was McCabe manipulating the investigation to get the result he and the Deep State wanted?
We can only speculate, but considering all of the other corrupt people working on the case, we can’t help but wonder.
The IG report relates that Priestap and Steinbach “said they did not know why McCabe kept Strzok assigned to the investigation.”
The report continues:
Strzok told the OIG he did not ask McCabe to keep him on the investigation and does not know whether Lisa Page requested Strzok remain on the investigation in conversations with McCabe. We found no evidence that Page made any such request of McCabe.
A separate 2018 Justice Department IG report on the FBI’s Hillary Clinton probe described an extraordinary system of communication set up between Page and McCabe that bypassed the ordinary chain of command to communicate important information about the agency’s probe of Clinton’s email server.
The method of communication involved Strzok, who was romantically involved with Page, sending information on the Clinton probe to McCabe through Page, the report found.
