OPINION| Lawrence David|House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is proving himself to be a political hack.
His animus towards President Trump was made clear immediately following the 2016 election.
Since Democrats took power, largely due to special counsel Robert Mueller’s refusal to close his $40 million inquiry into nothing prior to the 2018 midterms, they have used every lever available to them – the media and their party unity – to tarnish President Trump with unfounded derisive platitudes.
Why? Candidate Trump became Democrat Enemy No. 1 largely due to the sentiments he expressed in this speech:
“Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt establishment with a new government, controlled by you the American people.
“The Washington establishment and the financial and media corporations that fund it exists for only one reason, to protect and enrich itself.
“The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election for those who control the levers of power in Washington.
“And for the global special interests they partner with, these people that don’t have your good in mind, our campaign represents a true existential threat…
Americans of all stripes, whose lives have improved more than anytime in the past two decades, have rejected the Democrats efforts to depress President Trump’s public support.
Keeping his campaign promises has only helped grow President Trump’s base of supporters.
And, for Congressional Republicans, riding a wave of winning policy decisions by President Trump, their support has been 100% unwavering.
Faced with the continued dismantling of corrupt trade and foreign policy decisions – see Ukraine whose designation as the third most corrupt nation on earth didn’t stop the Dems from trying to impeach President Trump for holding up foreign aid until he was satisfied that the money would be going where it was intended – Democrats have chosen to circumvent the political system and remove the president through impeachment before he could further damage their gravy train.
Among all the corrupt Democrats, running all the corrupt investigations, in all of the committees they now control in the House, it’s ironic that it now comes down to Jerrold Nadler who had this to say in 1998 during the impeachment of Bill Clinton.

Unlike the impeachment of then-President Clinton, not a single Republican appears ready to support this sham impeachment. A sham impeachment being run by a hypocritical hack.
