House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) has said that President Trump will “rig” the 2020 election if he isn’t removed from office beforehand.
Translation: We have no idea how to beat him fair and square, so we’re rigging the 2020 election against him by impeaching him in a Hail Mary attempt to destroy the president politically.
During an appearance on “Meet the Press,” Nadler said that the Senate will have to decide “in the face of an abundance of uncontested evidence that the president poses a threat to our election, that he put his own interests above the interests of the country, are they going to be patriots or are they going to be partisans?”
First off, there’s NO evidence that the president poses a threat to the 2020 election. To the contrary, there’s a mountain of evidence that the Democrats interfered in the 2016 election, and everything they have done to this president since has been an interference in the 2020 election.
In case you haven’t been keeping count, there have been 4 separate investigations: a 9-month-long FBI investigation, the House of Representatives investigation, a bipartisan Senate investigation, and the Mueller probe investigation, and none of them have produced a single, solitary piece of evidence that Trump did anything at all wrong in the 2016 election, and yet this jackass Nadler is still saying that he did.
Host Chuck Todd then asked, “If he’s acquitted, do you think we’ll have a fair election in 2020?”
What an asinine thing to ask. Chuck Todd is not a news reporter, he’s a boot licker for the Democrats.
“I don’t know, “Nadler replied. “The president based on his past performance will do everything he can to make it not a fair election.”

I bet off camera they did a high-five afterwards.
Nadler added “We have a very rock-solid case,” which he said “if presented to a jury, would be a guilty verdict in about three minutes flat.”
Nadler is delusional if he really believes that. Of all the witnesses the Democrats brought forward, only one’s testimony would even be allowed to be heard in a courtroom, and that witness, Gordon Sondland, testified that the president said he wanted nothing, no quid pro quo, from Ukraine, and that he just wanted [President] Zelensky to “do the right thing.”
Nadler dismissed Republican counterpoints that the evidence against Trump is hearsay, saying there is “considerable direct evidence.” There is no direct evidence of anything Democrats are accusing the president of doing.
“And it ill behooves a president or his partisans to say you don’t have enough direct evidence when the reason we don’t have even more direct evidence is the president has ordered everybody in the executive branch not to cooperate with Congress in the impeachment inquiry, something that is unprecedented in American history and is a contempt of Congress by itself,” he added, according to The Hill.
“The only testimony we have are from public spirited, patriotic people in the CIA, the Pentagon, the White House itself who came forward and defied the president’s orders and testified.”
That deserves a belly laugh, as no one outside of Sondland had direct evidence of anything, and they all testified to that fact when asked about it. “My best friend’s next-door-neighbor’s dog walker’s sister heard it from a car salesman who heard it while standing in line at a supermarket” is not direct evidence of anything.
