This past week, we posted articles about an editorial published in Christianity Today magazine, Christianity Today Magazine Overrun By Leftists, Now Calling for Trump’s Removal and a response to the editorial, Billy’s Son, Franklin Graham, Body-Slams CT Magazine’s Editorial For Invoking the Elder Graham’s Name Against Trump, and we followed up with the article, Nearly 200 Pastors and Christian Leaders Write to ‘CT’ President Criticizing Trump Editorial.
It’s without a doubt that I say that President Trump has been more open to Christians and Christianity than any president we’ve seen in several decades. He openly and freely declares that we are, as our pledge of allegiance states, One Nation Under God.
He continues to welcome Christian leaders into the White House for prayer meetings and worship sessions. He’s even taken a sledgehammer to the political correctness that had come to surround the recent Christmas holiday by openly declaring “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays.”
With the track record President Trump has already established, it’s quite likely the Christianity Today editorial had little or nothing to do with his decision to form a coalition with Christian evangelicals, but whatever his reason is, I will say that I feel it is a great choice, and a wise one for the country in general.
This report comes from LifeNews:

President Donald J. Trump will be in Miami, Florida on January 3 to launch to the ‘Evangelicals for Trump’ coalition. The event will bring together Evangelicals from across the nation who support President Trump’s re-election.
Next week’s event will follow on the heels of a controversial editorial from the magazine Christianity Today, calling for President Trump to be impeached despite his strong pro-life record and extensive actions as president to protect the religious rights and freedoms of Christian Americans.
The magazine was founded by evangelical Billy Graham, and his son Franklin Graham excoriated the publication after the editorial was released.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Graham revealed that the last vote his father cast was for Donald Trump. Graham wrote:
“My father knew Donald Trump, he believed in Donald Trump, and he voted for Donald Trump. He believed that Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.”
Graham added this impeachment sham was “politically motivated, 100% partisan,” and he blasted CT, writing, “It’s obvious that Christianity Today has moved to the left and is representing the elitist liberal wing of evangelicalism.”
Leading pro-life advocates sided with Graham and against the CT editorial.
President Trump has given evangelicals and Christians plenty of reasons to support him.
One specific example is about the pro-life treatment of unborn infants. He has taken several important actions to protect unborn babies since he became president.
For example, he reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy. International groups are known to provide or promote abortions overseas, and that policy prohibits taxpayers from funding it. By doing so, Planned Parenthood’s international arm was defunded to the tune of about $100 million in U.S. tax dollars.
He called on Congress to ban late-term abortion on babies who are capable of feeling pain. He also routinely calls out the Democrat Party’s extreme position on abortion. He even went so far as to slam the governors of New York and Virginia for promoting abortion up to birth and infanticide during this year’s State of the Union address.
Those accomplishments are just a few among other pro-life positions Trump has taken.
If you’re a newcomer to this site, our founder, David J Harris Jr, will tell you that the reason for this page, his developing role as a political and cultural influencer, and his staunch support for President Trump was sparked during the 2016 election cycle as he listened to one of the debates between then-candidate Trump and Crooked Hillary Clinton. David heard Donald Trump speak about how he was openly, firmly, and positively pro-life. Hillary was “pro-choice,” which is PC-speak for open support of first-degree premeditated murder for hire – of unborn children. David went on to condense some of his thoughts and observations in his book, Why I Couldn’t Stay Silent. I believe it’s time for more of us to break the restraints of the muzzling the Left has tried to put on us and speak up!
Speaking for myself, I wholeheartedly welcome this coalition. I’m firmly convinced that the USA is God’s “beacon” to the rest of the world, and if there is anything notable to be said about any beacon, it has to be uncovered for its light to be of any use to those who need its illumination. I believe this coalition is another step in the right direction to continue towards the president’s objective to Make America Great Again. If we make God first, he will lift us up to be His beacon to the rest of humanity.
