What happens when America’s most liberal court in the land meets President Trump?
It turns red.
The go-to court for Democrats looking for an activist judge is no longer solidly blue…and that’s huge for the republicans!
In fact, Trump has made blue courts red and red courts redder ever since taking office and every judge a strict constitutionalist.
In total, he has nominated 150 judges to the federal bench in less than three years.
President Trump will be forced to leave office in 2025 but his presidency will be felt way into the future, especially the Supreme Court, if he gets two more selections by then.
The Ninth Circuit had remained blue for many decades because a tradition allowed the Senators from it’s home state to have input and veto power over selections for that court.
Trump ended the tradition and has packed the court.
President Donald Trump has ushered in the end of an era — no more will liberals dominate the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and use the federal appellate court as a rubber stamp for defeating pro-life legislation and pushing abortion on demand.
Today the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Deputy Assistant Attorney General Lawrence VanDyke to serve on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. President Trump nominated VanDyke in September.
Lawrence VanDyke graduated from Harvard Law School with high honors. Prior to his nomination to the 9th Circuit, VanDyke served as deputy assistant attorney general at the Department of Justice. He has extensive experience serving as solicitor general in both Montana and Nevada, as well as in private practice.
Leading pro-life groups celebrated his confirmation.

He will be an outstanding addition to the 9th Circuit,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “His distinguished record makes him highly qualified to serve on the federal bench. He is a committed and strong constitutionalist who will uphold the values and deeply held beliefs of our nation.”
