Remember, during and after the Benghazi compound attack, we heard that it was impossible to get help there in time to save the embassy and staff.
Fortunately, some of the contractors at the embassy were able to fight off the terrorists themselves.
Faced with identical circumstances, President Trump placed 100 specially trained Marines and Apache helicopters to protect the Iraqi embassy.
Pundits and Democrats are siding with Iran, naturally, but calling this Trump’s Benghazi is complete nonsense.
In the first place, President Trump had not transferred our defensive forces as Hillary did.
Secondly, he did not hire foreign security guards who stood back and allowed the terrorists in.
Thirdly, the ambassador was not killed.
And last, but not least, Trump is not claiming a twelve-minute video on the internet was responsible for the attack.
It should also be noted that unlike Benghazi, Trump was able to scramble help and secure the embassy.

Thank you to the President & Prime Minister of Iraq for their rapid response upon request Iran will be held fully responsible for lives lost, or damage incurred, at any of our facilities. They will pay a very BIG PRICE! This is not a Warning, it is a Threat. Happy New Year!”

American military forces arrived on scene at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, on Tuesday to stop a terrorist attack against the embassy that was being carried out by thousands of attackers.
President Donald Trump announced that Iran would be held “fully responsible” for any lives lost or damage to the facility and that they would pay “a very big price.”
