Speculation & Opinion Article From Patriot, Elder 6/29/19.
Hat tip to Maria Bartiromo who has been one of the few honest members of the media:
U.S. Representative John Ratcliffe (R-TX) joined her this morning. Rep. Ratcliffe is a former federal prosecutor.
Along with Nunes, who was privy to classified information, he saw through the collusion delusion early on and became a staunch defender of President Trump’s rights as an American.
On Wednesday, Ratcliffe tore special counsel in name only, Robert Mueller a new one when he pointed out that the special counsel investigation had been, and remains, a witch hunt:
Today, he discussed with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo what Americans can expect next.
“The person who learned the most about what was in the Mueller Report was Robert Mueller.”
Rep. Ratcliffe properly restrained himself displaying the words of a federal prosecutor who respects the fact that everyone is afforded the presumption of innocence until they are proven guilty:\
“I think the first thing we need to do is make sure we don’t do what the Democrats have done.
“They [Democrats] accused Donald Trump of a crime and then they tried and reverse engineer a process to justify that accusation.”
“So I’m not going to accuse any specific person of any specific crime, I just want there to be a fair process to get there. What I do know as a former federal prosecutor is that it does appear that there were crimes committed during the Obama administration.”
Ratcliffe said that Americans must have their faith restored in our justice system:
“I have supreme confidence in [attorney general] Bill Barr’s ability to deliver that [accountability.]”
Nunes was referring to the highly-partisan team of Clinton sycophants, legal advisors, and supporters that comprised the special counsel team and, before that, many were involved with the original FBI investigation.
Essentially, they were appointed to the SC team to protect their own prior criminal behavior. Mueller never bothered doing a conflict check. It was full steam ahead towards impeachment:
VIDEO REMOVED BY YOUTUBE … SURPRISE
Laura Ingraham: A first year associate at pretty much any law firm knows that the mere appearance of bias or conflict is often enough to require recusal from any case. In this situation, with the stakes so high, this was of paramount importance.
And, by the way, each lawyer on Mueller’s team had an affirmative legal obligation under the ethics rules o consider their own anti-Trump bias and decline the offer to w rork on the Russian collusion investigation given their past connections to the Democrats.
Republicans must hold them accountable and get real answers as to why this team was allowed to operate outside the Code of Professional Responsibility that all attorneys are subject to.
