Opinion| Lawrence David| We’ve been following this story since Politico ran a story entitled “How Google Could Rig the 2016 Election” in August of 2015. The article was written by psychologist and researcher, Robert Epstein… a liberal Democrat.
Robert Epstein: “Google, Inc., has amassed far more power to control elections—indeed, to control a wide variety of opinions and beliefs—than any company in history has ever had. Google’s search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more—up to 80 percent in some demographic groups—with virtually no one knowing they are being manipulated.”
“…half of our presidential elections have been won by margins under 7.6 percent, …well within Google’s control.”
Since the 2016 election we became aware of another Silicon Valley giant that put it’s thumb on the scale prior to the 2012 election that returned Manchurian President Barack Hussein Obama to the White House.
In March of 2018, Carol Davidsen, Team Obama’s Director for Media Analytics for his 2012 re-election campaign acknowledged that Facebook had provided access to their entire platform “because they were on our [the Dems] side.”
By manipulating search results (Google) and by limiting and even censoring conservative publishers (Facebook) just these two companies have made massive in-kind contributions to the Democratic Party.
Realize the potential impact on local, state, other federal elections and you question whether these corporations are buying influence on a massive scale.
Google nor Facebook were ever held accountable. While Democrats fret over foreign interference in our elections, they seem to be fine with interference by ideologically aligned American corporations.
After nothing was done to punish those who violated U.S. campaign finance law, what comes next is totally predictable.

Robert Epstein: “In 2020, if all of these companies are supporting the same candidate, there are 15 million votes on the line that can be shifted without people’s knowledge and without leaving a paper trail for authorities to trace.”
Senator Cruz: “It is terrifying that a handful of Silicon Valley billionaires, that now control over $5 trillion of the American economy, have no accountability and the ability to censor, to deceive, and to manipulate votes.
“I think that’s a threat to our democracy.”
Remember this when Democrats plead for leniency for the Deep State actors that Obama et al, unleashed against Donald Trump. Leniency breeds contempt for the law and that guarantees future efforts by biased political hacks will only intensify.
