Ocasio-Cortez Sympathizes With Dead Iranian Terrorist, Soleimani, Over US, Claims Trump Engaged in ‘Act of War’ by Killing Him [Opinion]

Opinion| Mark Sidney|  I’m not a huge Oprah Winfrey fan, however, there is a line that I have heard attributed to her, that I like to use from time to time, often when I hear AOC speak:

‘When someone shows you who they are, BELIEVE THEM.’

When AOC and ‘the squad’ constantly rail on about the horror of being an American, and how horrific our society is, it feels as if they loath our culture.  When they put Americans down time after time after time, as if we are her enemy … I believe her.

Anyway, after Trump retaliated for the storming of our embassy in Iraq, by killing Iran’s General Soleimani, Ocasio-Cortez was PISSED.

The self obsessed Congresswoman took to Twitter to vent: ‘Last night the President engaged in what is widely being recognized as an act of war against Iran, one that now risks the lives of millions of innocent people.

Now is the moment to prevent war & protect innocent people – the question for many is how, publicly & Congressionally:’ The megalomaniacal Congresswoman opined:

I wonder, was she so upset when our embassy was attacked?

A quick perusing of her Twitter, which show ZERO tweets empathizing with our staff in our embassy in Iraq, nor even a mention/acknowledgment of our sovereign land being attacked by a terroristic mob, suggests not.

AOC is showing up who she is, will you believe her?

Breitbart reported that: ‘Friday, Trump defended the airstrike that killed the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force by stating that it was done to prevent a conflict, not start one.

“We took action last night to stop a war, we did not take action to start a war,” he said, adding that “Soleimani made the death of innocent people his sick passion. We remember and honor the victims of Soleimani’s many atrocities and we take comfort in knowing that his reign of terror is over.”

In a follow up tweet, Ocasio-Cortez begged her flock not to fall for the siren song of the, so called, “war advocates”:

Provocation?  The provocation was the attack on our Embassy, sweetheart.

Is it just me, or does this woman seem to ooze the same sort of distain for her country that a petulant teenager does for their loving parents?

I believe that 95% of Americans want out of the Middle East, and out of endless wars, I know I do.  However, if we allow, a soon to be nuclear power slap us in the face and then retreat, we will be in for a world of pain tomorrow.

Eventually we are going to have to decapitate the leadership of Iran, especially as this proxy war escalates.

Do you want to do it now, while their people want revolution and the regime may be without, or in possession of only a few nuclear devices?

Or do you want to wait until Iran has a full armed nuclear arsenal?

I prefer now, and this is not a binary choice, it is not nuclear holocaust or peace on Earth.  While things may be that simple in Ocasio-Cortez’s brain, the real world is a lot more complicated.  After watching Trump for 3 years, I know two things, the man has a plan & he loathes war.

For now, I am going to trust in Trump.  If he goes sideways we will call him out, but as of now, he has done his job: defend the citizens of the United States, in this case, the ones in the US embassy in Iraq.

This is just my opinion, what do you think?
