Opinion| Mark Sidney| One of the things I was looking forward to this week was learning just which attorneys President Trump would enlist to counsel and represent him in his trial in the Republican controlled Senate.
Well, as usually, team Trump did not disappoint.

Ken Starr is famous fr having lead the investigation and impeachment of HRC’s husband, President Bill Clinton.
According to Wikipedia, Starr:
‘Kenneth Winston Starr (born July 21, 1946) is an American lawyer who has also been a United States circuit judge and U.S. solicitor general. He is best known for heading an investigation of members of the Clinton administration.
Starr served as a federal Court of Appeals judge and as solicitor general for George H. W. Bush. He received the most public attention for his tenure as independent counsel while Bill Clinton was U.S. president. Starr was initially appointed to investigate the suicide of deputy White House counsel Vince Foster and the Whitewater real estate investments of Bill Clinton. The three-judge panel charged with administering the Independent Counsel Act later expanded the inquiry into numerous areas including suspected perjury about Bill Clinton’s sexual activity with Monica Lewinsky. After more than four years of investigation, Starr filed the Starr Report, which alleged that Bill Clinton lied about the existence of the affair during a sworn deposition. Alan Morton Dershowitz (/ˈdɜːrʃəwɪts/; born September 1, 1938) is an American lawyer and academic. He is a scholar of United States constitutional law and criminal law. He has also been described as a noted civil libertarian. He began his teaching career at Harvard Law School where, in 1967, at the age of 28, he became the youngest full professor of law in its history. He held the Felix Frankfurter professorship there from 1993 until his retirement in December 2013, and has been a regular media contributor, political commentator, and legal analyst. He is also a prominent voice on the Arab–Israeli conflict and has written a number of books on the subject.
Dershowitz has been involved in a number of high-profile legal cases. As a criminal appellate lawyer, he won 13 of the 15 murder and attempted murder cases which he had handled, and has represented a series of celebrity clients, including Mike Tyson, Patty Hearst, and Jim Bakker. His most notable cases included the successful appeal of Claus von Bülow‘s 1982 conviction for the attempted murder of his wife, Sunny, and the 1995 O. J. TGWP went on to explain: ‘The House Judiciary Committee voted 23 to 17 along party lines on Friday to approve two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
After several weeks of threats and testimony the Democrats accused President Trump of two non-crimes:
1.) Abuse of power
2.) Obstructing Congress
In December Harvard Attorney Alan Dershowitz told Sean Hannity that the recent decision by SCOTUS to review President Trump’s legal arguments against Congress’s request for his financial records nullified Democrats’ “obstructing Congress” charges against the president.
Dershowitz is one of the last remaining honest Democrats.’
