VIRAL VIDEO: Virginia Rally Attendees Pick Trash Up After Themselves

A video has emerged from the pro-gun Virginia rally – where all hell was expected to break loose – showing attendees pick trash up after themselves.

The rally was the center of much controversy in the days leading up to the event.

In spite of all the nervy expectations before the event, groups were filmed picking up trash off a road as they were leaving.

The tweet bringing this to social media’s attention said: “Groups picking up trash off the road after the rally is over.”

Several other events, rallies, and protests have left behind a trash-filled wasteland.

Plenty of those messy events have paid lip service or protested for environmental causes.

Unfortunately, in many cases, it has been an example of ‘do as I say, not as I do.’

Commenters on the tweet left their sentiments on the clean-up.

One tweeter said, “A lesson the #WomensMarch and all other protests should learn. Clean up after yourself. I have yet to see a liberal protestor clean up afterwards!”

Another chimed in, saying, “Law abiding citizens care about the impact they leave upon an area…Wish the “Women’s March” polluters would have done the same…and they are supposedly “green”…”

A third commented, “And they care about the environment more than liberals. That’s saying something.”

Pundits, experts, and mainstream media publications all warned of a potential white supremacist, neo-Nazi, or extremist groups colliding, potentially leading to disastrous consequences.

The rally geared up to be a re-run of the fateful Charlottesville rally in 2017, where a woman, Heather Heyer, died.

Peaceful demonstrators of all political inclinations and walks of life appeared to show support for gun rights.

There had been plenty of brouhaha surrounding the event, especially at a time where gun rights are under the microscope.

Virginia embodies a small microcosm of the American political landscape: through demographic shifts, voting patterns changed from red to blue, and consequently, a pro-gun control governor was elected.
