What is that deafening sound coming from Washington D.C.? I know what it isn’t. It isn’t the protests coming from Democrats over the violence inflicted on cities all across America.
In D.C. near the White House, over 50 Secret Servicemen and women were injured by the violent mobs. Time to bring in the tanks and special forces to quell the wanton looting and the vandalizing of our national monuments.
If anything, the Democrats are complicit as are their children. Democrat’s children who have aided and abetted the terrorists include the daughter of Minnesota Gov Walz, the son of Minnesota AG Keith Ellison, the daughter of Bill de Blasio and the daughter of Ilhan Omar.
Washington is calling up all 1,700 of their National Guard to combat the rioting. They are already using Capitol Police, the DHS, DEA agents and of course the local police.
Sources say that they are afraid of car bombs and that the President has been taken to the underground bunker for his safety.
The bright side for Republicans and President Trump is that for every atrocity committed by the rioters and the looters translates into additional votes for them come November.
The only Democratic city that is taking harsh action against the rioters is Portland, Oregon of all places. But, that is because Mayor Ted Wheeler is up for reelection this year and if the Chamber of Commerce dumps him, he will not even win the primary.
As authorities clashed with demonstrators for the third straight night, the parish house connected to the historic St. John’s Episcopal Church across the street from the White House was set on fire late Sunday. The parish house contains offices and parlors for gatherings. The basement, which was also torched, is used for childcare during church services, and had recently undergone renovations.
The church says every president beginning with James Madison, “until the present,” has attended a service at the church, giving it the nickname, “the church of presidents.” The first services at the church were held in 1816, according to its website.
The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) building was also set ablaze near the White House. The AFL-CIO is the nation’s largest pro-union group.
An hour before the 11 p.m. ET curfew in D.C., police fired a major barrage of tear gas stun grenades into the crowd of more than 1,000 people, largely clearing Lafayette Park across the street from the White House and scattering protesters into the street.
