Over the past two months, the Democrats have been spreading the lie that mail-in voter fraud is nothing but a conspiracy theory, despite the fact that nine people in Texas were arrested over a mail-in voter fraud case.
And now, in Paterson, NJ several officials have been arrested in a massive voter fraud case that actually changed or rather would have changed the result.
In a vote for the city council, it would have changed the result in three of the members. That is because 1 out of every 5 votes was found to be fraudulent.
Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, Councilman-elect Alex Mendez, and two other men were charged with voter fraud charges over the city council election.
Of the 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots, only 13,557 were deemed to be valid and even that number might be high.
But that leaves over 3,200 votes being fakes.
More than 800 ballots in Paterson were tossed because they were found in mailboxes tethered together and another 2,300 were tossed because the signatures did not match their voter registration cards.
One Paterson woman named Romana Javier, after NBC showed her a list of people who allegedly voted on her block, told the channel that she never received a ballot and did not vote. “We did not receive vote-by-mail ballots and thus we did not vote,” she said. “This is corruption. This is fraud.”
The potential for fraud as a result of state and local officials resorting to mail-in ballots has become a topic of conversation among conservatives. Twitter flagged one of President Donald Trump’s tweets for suggesting in May that California’s mail-in ballots will be “substantially fraudulent.”
“The residents of New Jersey have a right to free and fair elections, and we will ensure that happens,” Thomas Eicher, director of the OPIA, said in a statement. “Our office’s criminal investigations complement a number of other safeguards that New Jersey has implemented to ensure the integrity of our elections.”
