Police in Portland, Oregon, rapidly moved in and tore apart a barrier put up by protesters with the intent of setting up their own Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), quickly downgrading the event to CHUCK.
These cops aren’t wussies like the ones on Seattle. They’re not giving up city real estate to thieving radical Marxists. It’s either that, or they wanted to get the job done before the Democrat mayor issued a stand down order.
The protesters created the “zone” outside what they believed was Ted Wheeler’s apartment building, according to KATU News. Wheeler is Portland’s Mayor.
Rumors abound that police timed the raid to sync with the radicals’ tofu break.
In all seriousness, Portland Police declared a “civil disturbance and unlawful assembly from NW 11th east to NW Park Ave and NW Irving south to NW Everett St”:
“If you do not live inside a dwelling in this area, leave immediately to the west,” police ordered. “If you do not leave you are subject to arrest or use of force.”

Based on the news report, the group that goes by the Pacific Northwest Youth Liberation Front (can they get any more cliche?), called the area the Patrick Kimmons Autonomous Zone (how do you pronounce PKAZ?), named after Kimmons, who was shot and killed by Portland police in October 2018.
The group used “dumpsters, pallets and boards” to create a perimeter around the zone in order to block vehicles from driving into their stolen space.
What is it that makes radical Marxists think they can just take land that doesn’t belong to them? Don’t they always gripe about when white European settlers came here and took land from Native Americans? What’s good for me is not for thee?
Protesters made demands that the Portland Police budget be defunded by $50 million. On Wednesday, the Portland City Council approved a $16 million cut from the police budget.
Let’s see how fast the cops show up at their houses when the vandals start attacking them, and judging by what just happened in Olympia, Washington, they may not have too long to wait.
