A Black woman who says she is a Social Studies teacher spoke to a television news station and demonstrated why public education is a total mess. She not only supports the looting and burning of large corporate stores but justified the destruction of Black-owned businesses.
She makes several claims during her time in front of the camera that just left me shaking my head and causing me to pray for our education system.
One of her first complaints is that Black youths will not have jobs this summer. That much is true, but why won’t they? Because Democrats set out to destroy businesses by keeping them under lockdown, driving many small businesses into bankruptcy.
But does she criticize Democrats? Of course not, she has been programmed not to.
She said:
“I mean, I’m a black mother and a Social Studies teacher and I’m raising a black son in America so I have no choice but to fight and walk. That’s all I can do.”
Then she justifies the burning and looting of stores, including Black-owned small businesses:
“I mean these white mobs came and rioted in Tulsa and did the same s**t, excuse my language, but I’m just sayin’ like, what’s the difference?”
(She is talking about an atrocity that occurred 100 years ago.)
“These are multi-billion dollar corporations that got insurance. So, no offense, but they’ll be alright.”
“What about some of the mom and pop stores on Fordham road that are owned by people of color?” asked the reporter.
“Hmmm, define owned by people of color, because the banks actually run those businesses. So they own, they could be a mom and pop store, but it’s probably someone else that is not of their color funding their business.”
Now, this is just plain stupid and unfortunately, you can’t fix stupid. Do banks run small Black-owned businesses? I’m willing to bet there are a lot of Black business owners out there that would be shocked to find out they don’t run their businesses. It reminds me of Obama telling all business owners that they did not build their businesses.
The scary thing is the thought that this woman teaches children when they are most impressionable. And note one thing. Not once did the name George Floyd come up in the conversation.I thought that’s what the riots were all about.
