38-year-old Malcolm Harsch was found dead, hanging from a tree near the Victorville Library in California.
The police reported the death as a suicide and family adviser, community activist Najee Ali on Monday said that Harsch was lynched. It started building up until police decided to show a surveillance video of Harsch’s death.
The video shows Harsch tying a blue electronics cord around his own neck and then the other end to a tree branch just before killing himself. After viewing the video, the family and even the radical Ali all admitted that Harsch did indeed kill himself.
But don’t believe this is the end of it. People will continue to swear he was lynched, probably by Trump supporters. BLM and other groups still consider the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown as being murdered, even though neither one was.
KNBC-TV interviewed a man claiming to be Harsch’s best friend who said that he couldn’t imagine the man committing suicide. He did say that Harsch had been unhappy because he was going to miss the graduation of one of his eight children.
A change in tune
“We do believe that foul play was involved,” said community activist Najee Ali on Monday. “We do believe that white nationalism, white racism, white supremacy is on the rise because of the rise of Black Lives Matter!”
After the family was shown the video on Friday, Ali had a much different statement to make.
“On behalf of the family of Malcolm Harsch unfortunately it seems he did take his own life,” said Najee Ali.
“The Victorville Police Department officials released new video evidence to family members,” Ali added. “The family wants to sincerely thank everyone for their support and prayers.”
