NY Gov Andrew Cuomo rips Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her ridiculous claim that the dramatic rise in shootings and murders are due to poverty and the need for people to shoplift a loaf of bread.
He called her claims, “factually impossible.”
Cuomo has been trying to rehabilitate his record after sending so many DTMNBN (Disease That Must Not Be Named) to nursing homes where a large portion of deaths were recorded.
The idea that it is a good idea to send infected patients to a place where the most vulnerable citizens live was an utter disaster.
AOC said that people were unable to pay their rent but as Gov Cuomo points out that evictions in the state had been placed on hold.
Therefore, being evicted is not something the people had to worry about yet.
However, it is true that thanks to Cuomo’s blundering response to DTMNBN, New Yorkers are in very dire financial straights,

AOC made her comments after a particularly bloody weekend in New York, one in which a one-year-old boy was shot and killed. The lack of law enforcement is the problem, not the lack of a loaf of bread. There has been an unusually large number of shootings especially in a city and state that makes it almost impossible for a law-abiding citizen to own a gun.
New York City passed a budget earlier in July, which stripped $1 billion in funding from the New York Police Department (NYPD). Cuomo signed sweeping police reforms last month, which included a ban on police chokeholds, and a repeal of a law which kept disciplinary records of police officers secret.
