In case you missed it, during a segment of Fox Business News’ Sunday Morning Futures, a previously unaired video clip of host Maria Bartiromo interviewing U.S. Attorney General William Barr was presented.
Barr’s comments are insightful and indicate how close we came to losing our right to elect our president.

The segment begins with Barr acknowledging that President Donald Trump was indeed targeted by various entities within the intelligence community in a concerted effort to remove him from office.
Bartiromo: “A source said to me a couple of years ago speaking of the Russia collusion story that this was the closest the United States ever came to a coup to take down a president since the assassination of Lincoln. Is that an appropriate statement?”
Barr: “In this sense, I think it’s the closest we have come to an organized effort to push a president out of office…”
The significance and importance of Barr confirming that foundational truth cannot be overstated…
Critical to the near-successful coup attempt was the all-in position that the mainstream Marxist media played. Barr touches on this under questioning from the Fox host.
Barr allows for the possibility President Obama never planned to allow a peaceful transition of power…
Bartiromo: “In January 5th, 2017, when President Obama and Vice President Biden were there, along with their deputies, they talked about the Logan Act with regard to [incoming National Security Advisor] General Flynn… was that an opportunity to just try to take down Flynn any way they could?”
Barr: “Well we’ve said what we have to say about Flynn in our filing to dismiss the charges…”
“… The Logan Act was, in my view, facially absurd to raise in this context where you have an incoming national security advisor….”
“… This was somebody coming into office, in a transition, which is an officially recognized function of the United States and discussing future relations [with Russia].
It seems the attorney general recognizes that America is at a crossroad… is the power of government transferred peacefully according to the will of the voters as it has been for nearly two-and-a-half centuries… or, would it be perfectly acceptable for President Trump to bring trumped up charges against Joe Biden and his comrades if he loses the 2020 election?
There must be consequences if there’s going to be future deterrence.
