Lawrence David| President Trump has intervened to end the persecution of his longtime friend Roger Stone.
(Washington Examiner) President Trump has commuted the sentence of former campaign aide Roger Stone just days before he was set to report to prison.
The White House broke the news Friday evening, announcing the commutation of the three-year prison sentence Trump’s longtime friend and adviser faced as a result of being convicted of charges stemming from the U.S. government’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Stone’s only crime was being a personal confidant of Donald Trump. For that, he got the Flynn treatment, and was facing nearly three-and-a-half years in a federal prison.
At a time when rapists are being released to save them from contracting the CCP virus, Stone, despite being 67 y/o and with underlying medical conditions, was being ordered to surrender himself next week to begin serving the disproportionate sentence,
Well, President Trump corrected the injustice this evening by commuting Stone’s sentence…

He added that he is going to continue to fight his case in the appeals court, and also do whatever he can to support the full exoneration of General Flynn
