Racism is racism, I know that sounds like a basic truth about the mistreatment of another human being, based solely on the color of their skin or national origin. A universal wrong, it has been in all cultures, since the beginning of human history.
The original colonies under Britsh rule were a mixture of puritans, dreamers, aristocrats, and slaves.
Like impoverished people of other nationalities, many emigrated from Ireland to the Americas in the 17th and 18th centuries as indentured servants; a smaller number were forcibly banished into indentured servitude during the period of the English Civil Wars; indentured servants often lived and worked under harsh conditions and were sometimes treated cruelly. In 1619, the first cargo ships arrived with African slaves, who unlike the indentured servants from Europe were captured, taken from their homeland, and cruelly sold as property, losing all individual autonomy and rights.
Up to, including and after the passage of the US Constitution, each state as part of their constitutions, slowly made slavery illegal. The Southern states, with their narcissistic dependence on slave labor, formed the Democratic party and vehemently fought any legislation that would end slavery universally. Finally, a President was, elected, with only Northern states supporting him, who would correct the wrongs of slavery in the USA.
From Senate.gov
On November 6, 1860, in an election that brought the new Republican Party to national power, Abraham Lincoln was elected president by a strictly northern vote. Four days later, on November 10, Senator James Chesnut resigned his Senate seat and returned home to South Carolina to draft an ordinance of secession. One day later, South Carolina’s James Hammond also pledged to support the Confederacy “with all the strength I have.”
President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, as the nation approached its third year of bloody civil war. The proclamation declared “that all persons held as slaves” within the rebellious states “are, and henceforward shall be free.”
Now to 2020
From Breitbart
Black Lives Matter activists in Los Angeles believe that they live in a city that is filled with “liberal white supremacists.”
“So it’s important as we say things — like I see your sign ‘fuck Donald Trump,’ yeah ‘fuck Donald Trump’ — that we remember that we live in a city that is largely liberal white supremacists,” Dr. Melina Abdullah, co-founder of Black Lives Matter LA told an enthusiastic crowd in a video posted by the People’s City Council on Wednesday:
“As we talk about a white supremacist terrorist like Donald Trump remember that we live in a city that is largely liberal white supremacists. So, when you say ‘Fuck Donald Trump, make sure you say Fuck Eric Garcetti’” – @docmellymel

Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State LA, went on to describe liberal white supremacists as those who have “black friends that sit at the dinner table” and those who “speak Spanish.”
“So the kind of white supremacists that have black friends that sit at the dinner table. Right? That brag about having served in the Peace Corps. Right? That speak Spanish. Right?” she asked.
“The kind of white supremacist who will smile in your face but enact policies that kill our people,” she added, calling Trump a “white supremacist terrorist” and encouraging the crowd to shout, “fuck Eric Garcetti.”
The claim of liberal white supremacists purportedly dominating L.A. comes as activists across the nation demand the removal of historic monuments in the name of racial justice — even those that are unrelated to the Confederacy.
From the NT Times Twitter Page:
Mount Rushmore was built on land that belonged to the Lakota tribe and sculpted by a man who had strong bonds with the Ku Klux Klan. It features the faces of 2 U.S. presidents who were slaveholders.https://t.co/pHmJScnYbb

The Times piece follows several instances of activists taking matters into their own hands, vandalizing and destroying various historic monuments and sculptures in their self-described quest for justice.
Herein lies the dilemma America faces. History shows that former British subjects, won independence from their oppressors, recognized their error in allowing slavery to carry over, fought a Civil War ending slavery, passed The Reconstruction Amendments (Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth), and supported the equal rights movement. Now the tables are turning as Marxist organizations in the black community along with self-deprecating, white, white-hating college students, are forcing corporations, organizations, and local communities to promote hatred of white Americans.
It appears that unchallenged, the next few generations of, who will be the minority by 2050, white Americans will allow their opportunities to subside resulting in a reduced station of life. If so, what a sad period of American history it will be. What started over 400 plus years ago as the great experiment of freedom for all people, would end up with a divided nation, with all sides carrying the history of racism coming from their individual ethnic communities.
