[Opinion] Don’t look now but America is collapsing into a hellhole. After months upon months of citizens being locked in their homes, forced to wear masks, maintain physical distance from one another, being barred from going out for drinks, and with many small businesses being bankrupt by the draconian response to, you know ‘the thing,’ it is not a surprise that the nation is collapsing, emotionally and mentally.
We can argue over the intentions of the power structure, but the facts are the facts, people are sick of being treated like cattle. While most of us are mentally stable and able to withstand the strain, one needs to look no further than the civil unrest in blue cities to see that plenty of people are losing their minds.
Of course, there is nothing that justifies the impossible to comprehend behavior that a Armando Barron, a 30 year old New Hampshire resident is accused of engaging in. There is also no evidence that I have seen that suggests the lockdown is being used as an excuse for his behavior. I would venture to guess this man has been dealing with demons his entire life.
I know most people would not take kindly to another man sleeping with their wife, however, I am not sure I can imagine anyone I know going THIS far.
Fox News is reporting
‘New Hampshire state police have announced arrests in the gruesome case of a man who they say ordered his wife to behead her lover after he shot the man him in the head, killing him.
Jonathan Amerault, 25, of Keene, N.H., was killed Sept. 20. His body was found two days later at a remote campsite in Coos County, N.H., police said.
On Friday, Armando Barron, 30, of Jaffrey, N.H., was charged with killing Amerault and his wife, Britany Barron, 31, was charged with decapitating the victim and concealing the body, according to reports that cited a court affidavit in the case.
Barron and his wife pleaded not guilty Friday at a court arraignment in Cheshire County, it was reported. They were jailed without bail.’
Pretty sick, eh? Well, it gets worse. According to the Keene Sentinel:
‘Britany Barron told police that her husband had discovered she had been in a relationship with Amerault after going through her cellphone on Saturday, according to the affidavit.
[Armando gave Brittany a gun and ordered her to shoot her lover, however,] “Britany Barron would not place her finger on the trigger,” the affidavit says, summarizing her account. “When she did not shoot him, Armando removed the gun from her hand.”
Britany Barron said her husband ordered Amerault into his own vehicle, a gray Subaru Impreza, according to the affidavit. She told investigators that once they were all in the car, Armando Barron ordered her to slice Amerault’s wrists, which she did, the affidavit states.
After that, she told investigators, her husband turned around and fired three shots, two of which struck Amerault in the chest, one in the head, Sgt. Stephen Sloper of N.H. State Police wrote in the affidavit.
…
Britany Barron told investigators that, prior to leaving for Annett State Park, and again during the drive there, her husband assaulted her, leaving her with a pair of black eyes and injuries to her nose, the affidavit states. She told investigators that while still in their home, her husband put a gun in her mouth and attempted to strangle her, Sloper wrote, adding that she said this was witnessed by the couple’s 9-year-old daughter.
After her husband shot Amerault, Britany Barron said, he ordered her to drive Amerault’s car, with his body inside, north toward Errol, to an area where the Barrons had frequently camped, Sloper wrote. Armando Barron followed behind in his own vehicle, a Jeep Patriot, according to the affidavit.
Once in Errol, Britany Barron told police, her husband stopped at a general store and purchased tarps, lighter fluid, household cleaner and a shovel. Then after traveling into the woods and making camp, Britany Barron said Armando ordered her to remove Amerault’s head so he could not be identified via dental records, according to the affidavit. She said she did so, and it was buried separately, Sloper wrote.
…
She told police she was ordered to wrap Amerault’s body in a tarp and dig another grave…’
Some hunters later stumbled upon the woman at her campsite and alerted her that camping on that land was illegal. The hunters eventually called the authorities, who found Brittany at the campsite and discovered the victim’s car covered with a tarp, sticks and leaves to conceal it from view.
‘The affidavit says the officers found Amerault’s torso and head wrapped in tarps.’ Fox added
Both Armando and Brittany are both in custody and awaiting trial.
