Yesterday a confidential phone call between the Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger and President Trump was leaked to the Washington Post.
Needless to say, President Trump was furious over the leak to the Newspaper who always seems to be coming into possession of leaked information from the office of the president.
Georgia Republican chairman David Shafer tweeted: President Donald Trump has filed two lawsuits – federal and state – against Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. This was after Raffensperger secretly recorded the “confidential settlement discussion” of that litigation that is still pending.
The audio published by the Washington Post is heavily edited and omits the stipulation that all discussions were for the purpose of settling litigation and confidential under federal and state law.

There is uncertainty about the validity of the claim that lawsuits have been filed. While The Gateway Pundit’s lead story is about the tweet embedded above, other outlets, such as Salon have corrected their claim that any lawsuit has been filed stating:
‘Correction: A previous version of this story incorrectly claimed that President Donald Trump had sued Georgia’s secretary of state for recording and releasing their phone conversation. Raw Story regrets the error.)’
Regardless if the lawsuits exist or not, President Trump does not seem to be taking the release of this phone call lightly.
Now, The Gateway Pundit is reporting:
‘According to reporter Jack Posobiec the White House is planning to refer Brad Raffensperger to Secret Service for investigation under national security grounds of the Espionage Act.
