ICYMI: After Biden, who ran on being Obama’s groom of the stool just shut the oil and gas industry down, leaving nearly all of America FUMING, I thought this would be fun to revisit.
What a pompous ASS!
Former President Barack Obama can’t seem to give up being the center of attention. Now, he is reportedly upset that Americans won’t just say “thank you” to him for our country’s current booming economy and oil/energy production.
The former President of the United States claimed that he’s responsible for the progress our country is currently seeing, and that Americans should be “thanking” him.
Oh yeah, and he claimed this all while at the same exact time taking credit for the Paris Accord climate agreement.
Via the Free Beacon:
“I was extraordinarily proud of the Paris accords because — you know, I know we’re in oil country and we need American energy, and by the way, American energy production,” Obama said.
“You wouldn’t always know it, but it went up every year I was president. That whole, suddenly America’s like the biggest oil producer and the biggest gas — that was me, people.”

Could this guy be any more full of himself? It’s important to remember that Obama was seen as an “avowed enemy of coal and pipeline production,” and was responsible for imposing environmental regulations which did not help.
The Free Beacon also reported:
The Daily Caller noted U.S. oil production indeed doubled during the Obama years, and natural gas output rose 50 percent, but the rise was mainly from work on private or state lands outside his administration’s purview. The Trump administration has dramatically increased oil production on federal lands, with Department of the Interior data stating this year has been the highest on record.
Basically, none of this had to do with Obama at all.
The former President was also apparently upset that no one credited him with the stock market growth during his tenure, which was partly because his own regulations were so bad for American businesses.
“What are you talking about? What are you complaining about? Just say, ‘Thank you,’ please,’” Obama stated.
