Twitter BANS PRESIDENT TRUMP

Today is a day that will no doubt go down in history.  The anger of the American people bubbled over and was co-opted and used to create a narrative discrediting and smearing those seeking to peacefully restore our representative government.

A woman lost her life after being shot by Capitol Police following, what can only be described as an angry mob, stormed the Capitol building and occupied the building following President Trump’s speech.

As tempers flared at the legislature, President Trump made a short video and posted to to Twitter, expressing his belief that the election was not on the level, but more importantly, urging for peace and for all his supporters to return home.

The text of his tweet, as transcribed by The Gateway Pundit is as follows:

“I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now.

We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt.

It’s a very tough period of time. There’s never been a time like this where such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us–from me, from you, from our country.

This was a fraudulent election, but we can’t play into the hands of these people.

We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You’re very special.

You’ve seen what happens. You see they way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel. But go home. And go home in peace.”

The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft opined:

‘President Trump released a video statement Wednesday afternoon calling for peace and for his supporters to go home after they stormed the Capitol Building earlier in the day to disrupt the joint session of Congress that was meeting to certify the votes of the Electoral College for president in favor of Joe Biden.

Twitter blocked distribution of the video claiming it was a risk for provoking violence, not allowing comments, likes, bookmarks or retweets. Only quote tweets are currently being allowed. Even so, the video has over six million views in less than twenty minutes of being posted at 4:17 p.m. EST.

Twitter added a warning stating, “This claim of election fraud is disputed, and this Tweet can’t be replied to, retweeted or liked due to a risk of violence.”’

While there is a lot of blame to go around for today’s events, the censoring of the President of The United States by a social media corporation will be remembered as the moment the real power in this country came of age.

For years we warned President Trump about the dangers of Big Tech and nothing was done, now, here we are with half the nation not trusting the outcome of the election, the other half looking to label them as terrorists and the President of the United States’ speech not welcome on social media for 12 hours.

Twitter also warned Trump that if he continue this behavior he would be deleted, permanently.  I have this sneaking suspicion that come January 20th, as soon as his 1st term is over, or perhaps even sooner, Trump will be banned from Twitter for life.  But hey, what do I know,  right?
