BLM Co-Founder Admits They Are ‘Trained Organizers and Marxists’

In this Summer of radicalism, BLM has emerged as a leader in the SJW (Social Justice Movement). As with any activist organization, especially after seeing the manifestation of their ideology, it is incumbent of those concerned to look into the founder’s motivations and goals.

What I found in my research is a Marxist ideology in their founder’s worldviews, and two main events, used as catalysts for the movement.

Who started BLM and Why?

From the Black Lives Matter website: Herstory

“In 2013, three radical Black organizers — Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi — created a Black-centered political will and movement building project called #BlackLivesMatter. It was in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer, George Zimmerman.”

“In 2014, Mike Brown was murdered by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. It was a guttural response to be with our people, our family — in support of the brave and courageous community of Ferguson and St. Louis as they were being brutalized by law enforcement, criticized by media, tear gassed, and pepper sprayed night after night.”

They reject the evidence provided by those who saw the shootings, the acquittals, and promote the idea that the shooting deaths were of 2 innocent black men shot by 2 racists, “white” men.

And from their about us page

#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, we are winning immediate improvements in our lives.

I, as a Christian, agree that all bigotry is evil in nature. I believe BLM’s violence will not change a racist heart, but it can prevent those who are also fighting for equal rights for all, from continuing the journey with those who need a voice. Only God’s power, people taking personal responsibility, and us treating our neighbors the way we want to be treated, can fix any social issue.

BLM is not the solution.
