Believe it or not, I am 100% supportive of immigration … PROVIDED, we do not have a high unemployment rate among current citizens, the applicants will not be a burden on the system and will contribute financially to the treasury, not be a drag on it …. Oh, yeah, and that those seeking citizenship go through the LEGAL process established to become a citizen.
Immigration is important … when we have shortages in labor and excess in capital to deploy within the economy. However, when 10,000,000 Americans are out of work, the Federal government is running a deficit that is 20% or more of GPD and states are on the verge of bankruptcy, that is a totally different story.
No, when it comes to people illegally entering the country … I’m sorry, but that’s not how this works. If you are fleeing from South America, there are plenty of nations on the way from the continent of South America, why not stop in Mexico?
If you are coming from China, why not head West, not East? It’s because part of the plan to tear America down is to flood this nation with people who are used to and will accept a totalitarian, communist regime. Who better than people who are used to those regimes in their home country.
Not only will they be more amenable to tyranny they will be used to doing without and lowering the standard of living here will be easier. If you come from a place with a crappy power grid that has not been industrialized, you won’t complain when the Green New Deal means you have to go without electricity some times.
Luckily for America, there are still a few sane judges on the benches in this country.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
‘A district judge has issued an indefinite ban on Joe Biden’s 100 day “deportation moratorium.”
U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton had previously issued a two week restraining order on Biden’s plan to stop most deportations, but extended it on Tuesday.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had argued that Biden’s plan violated federal law and an agreement that Texas be consulted before changes like that are made.
Fox News reports that “the agreement means that DHS must give Texas 180 days’ notice of any proposed change on any matter that would reduce enforcement or increase the number of ‘removable or inadmissible aliens’ in the U.S.”
“Our state defends the largest section of the southern border in the nation. Failure to properly enforce the law will directly and immediately endanger our citizens and law enforcement personnel,” Paxton said in a statement last month announcing the lawsuit.
Biden campaigned on the 100 day pause on deportations, a halt on construction of the border wall, and a path to citizenship for the millions of illegal migrants living in the US.’
I don’t know about you, but I think it’s high time we split the United States up into smaller nations. Texas should not be forced to go without power because of bureaucrats in Washington DC. Floridians should not be subjected to martial law type conditions because the ruling regime wants to cripple the local economies.
It’s time government reflects the will of the people once again.
