A 6th woman has come forward to accuse serial harasser, Andrew Cuomo of touching her inappropriately.
The woman’s name has not been revealed until news outlets are able to contact her and get to hear her story. She says she was summoned to the Governor’s mansion to do some work when she was touched against her will by Cuomo.
Cuomo being a sexual predator is a vicious “rumor” (according to Cuomo) started by now 6 victims.
An Executive Chamber supervisor just recently became aware of the allegation, and other employees reported the newest accusation to the governor’s office and to the New York attorney general’s office that is investigating Cuomo for alleged crimes he has committed.
Cuomo was asked about the latest accusation and he said:
“First, I’m not aware of any other claim. As I said last week, this is very simple, I never touched anyone inappropriately.”
No one ever told me at the time that I made them feel uncomfortable. Obviously, there are people who said after the fact that I made them uncomfortable.”
The accusations of sexual harassment do contain a silver lining for Cuomo. As long as people are focused on the fact that he is a pervert, they tend to forget the much bigger nursing home scandal.
People dying seems to be a much more serious scandal. Even Democrats and some in the media are finally getting that message.
The sexual harassment allegations that surfaced in recent weeks have led New York politicians on both sides of the aisle to join calls for Cuomo to resign.
The governor was already embroiled in scandal over claims that his administration underreported nursing home deaths last year over fears of the political fallout from his executive order placing COVID-19 positive patients in long-term care facilities at the start of the pandemic.
The state’s Democrat-led legislature moved last week to strip him of the emergency powers granted to him during the pandemic, and Republicans are rallying efforts to have the governor impeached.
