It seems like every other day the news is awash with stories of mass shootings.
I do find it rather odd that every time the Democrats want to take our guns we suddenly see a rash of heinous shootings. This is not the first time that we have asked if there is really an uptick in shootings, or is it just that the media pays special attention to these events when gun grabbing is in the air?
The latest mass shooting is being reported out of a high school in Knoxville Tennessee.

‘Multiple people – including an officer – were injured Monday afternoon in a mass shooting at a high school in Knoxville, police said.
Local reports say the suspect has been found dead.
Multiple agencies are at the scene of the shooting in Austin-East Magnet High School, according to police. ‘

‘Police in Knoxville, Tennessee said on Monday they were responding to reports of a shooting at a high school, with at least several victims.
“Multiple gunshot victims reported, including a KPD officer. The investigation remains active at this time,” Knoxville police said on Twitter.
Television news images showed police and fire crews surrounding Austin-East High School in east Knoxville.
“Knox County Schools is responding to a shooting that occurred this afternoon at Austin-East Magnet High School. We are gathering information about this tragic situation and will provide additional information as soon as possible,” Knoxville schools superintendent Bob Thomas said on Twitter.
“The school building has been secured and students who were not involved in the incident have been released to their families,”‘ the superintendent stated.
