I think you know by now that we are no fans of government. However, if we must have government, there is one thing we want from it (besides being small enough to drown in the bathtub as Grover Norquist famously stated), and that is transparency.
We are all for police officers wearing body cameras as they provide an unbiased, first person view of what the officer was encountering. This makes determining the truth much easier. As you know there are always 3 sides to every story: his, hers and the truth. Body cams make it easier to locate the later.

‘Brooklyn Center, MN police on Monday released bodycam footage of the moments leading to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright.
Daunte Wright was shot and killed by a police officer Sunday night, sparking violent protests.
The bodycam footage shows that Daunte Wright resisted arrest and fled the scene.
Police were in the process of cuffing Wright during a traffic stop when he broke free and jumped in his car.
According to the police chief, the officer “accidentally discharged” their weapon instead of using a taser.
Daunte Wright crashed his car after he tried to flee the scene.’

The Daily Caller tweeted out the video of the fatal shooting, as well as a statement by the Brooklyn Center Police Chief, Tim Gannon. Gannon said that it is his belief that the shooting was an accident and that the officer meant to tase Mr. Wright.

I suppose this stands to reason, as most often in these situations where people open fire, they do not stop pulling the trigger after a single round is fired. They keep shooting until their target is clearly no longer a threat.
All I know is that I would not want to be any of the men in this video. The left has made being a cop an even more dangerous and now a thankless job as well. Let’s pray that justice is served and that we can find a way to unite this great nation once again.
