Biden’s Bald-Faced Lie. This Time The Entire World Was Watching Him

President Joe Biden tried to take credit for a ceasefire Thursday between Israel and the Hamas terrorists, even though it had been reported that Egypt brokered the peace.

Biden, who spoke at the White House, included a sentence in his remarks lauding Egyptian officials for their “critical role” in helping to end the fighting. He went on to repeatedly point out the intensive work he said was done by his own administration.

“Over the last 11 days, I spoke with the prime minister six times. I’ve also spoken with President Abbas and the Palestinian Authority more the once in part of our intense diplomatic engagement,” Biden said, “And I want to also thank secretary of state, the secretary of defense, our national security adviser, and everyone on our team for their incredible efforts to bring this about, this outcome that we’re about to see.

“You know, we’ve held intensive, high-level discussions, hour by hour, literally, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority, and other Middle Eastern countries, with an aim of avoiding this sort of prolonged conflict we’ve seen in previous years when the hostilities have broken out.”

I’m surprised Joe didn’t do a little curtsy.

Biden pledged to help Israel restock its Iron Dome system and to work with the Palestinians to rebuild Gaza.

There’s nothing worse than someone who did very little for an effort, desperately trying to get recognition.

Biden said he talked to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the ceasefire and approved of his decision to end hostilities.

“The United States fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself against indiscriminate rocket attacks from Hamas,” Biden said.

Why do leaders always feel the need to say that they support Israel’s right to defend themselves? Israel is a sovereign state recognized by the UN and the world over. Of course, they have the right to defend themselves. It shouldn’t even come up. Instead, you would do a better service by pointing out that Hamas is a terrorist organization that attacked Israel first.

Biden said Netanyahu shared his appreciation for the Iron Dome system which they use for missile defense whenever Arab terrorists start launching rockets at their innocent civilians. That system was built with help from the US. Biden remarked that the system “has saved the lives of countless Israeli citizens, Arab and Jew.”

That’s something that a lot of people don’t really ever think about. There are many Palestinians and other types of Arabs who live inside Israel very peacefully. They love it there because they are treated equally. They serve in the Knesset and they serve in the armed forces with equality to Jews. That’s why I laugh every time some knucklehead leftist accuses Israel of being an apartheid state. They are the exact opposite of apartheid.

“I assured him of my full support to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome system to ensure its defenses and security in the future,” Biden said.

Biden claimed he also spoke with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is a member of the Fatah Party.

I’m certain Biden didn’t talk to Abbas about how he was the cause of the conflict in the first place. Abbas canceled an upcoming election, the first in many years. He discovered through polling that Hamas was going to beat him decisively. So anger ensued, hostilities broke out, and then they did what Arabs always do when they try to shift the focus off of themselves: They blamed the Jews.

“I send my sincere condolences to all the families, Israeli and Palestinian, who have lost loved ones and my hope for a full recovery for the wounded,” Biden continued. “The United States committed to working with the United Nations, and we remain committed to working with the United Nations and other international stakeholders to provide rapid humanitarian assistance and to marshal international support for the people of Gaza and the Gaza reconstruction efforts.”

“We will do this in full partnership with the Palestinian Authority, not Hamas, Palestinian Authority, in a manner that does not permit Hamas to simply restock its military arsenal.”

Over the last 11 days, Hamas fired over 4,000 rockets into Israeli neighborhoods in what they claim was started by a clash between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters. The Israeli Defense Force then struck back with airstrikes devastating Hamas. It was at that point the hate merchants came out and complained that Israel was just too tough against Hamas terrorists who attacked Israel first.
