If you were to turn on the TV and tune into CNN, MSNBC or any other left wing network you would think that holding police accountable for shooting unarmed Americans was a huge problem in this country.
I have to admit, I worry about the militarization of America’s police forces. However, I also understand that the vast majority of police officers are good people who risk their lives to keep us safe.
When cops abuse their power we condemn them, when they are put in impossible situations and legitimately fear for their lives and draw and fire their service weapon, we are sad that it happened, but more often than not the shootings are justified.
It seems like every week we see a city burning because a police officer shot, pepper sprayed or injured someone. There seems to be a pattern, the media and left are only outraged when it is a black person being abused. Obviously we condemn police brutality no matter what color the citizen being hurt is.
However, it seems that our friends on the left, and the Marxists who now have complete control of the United States Government are A.O.K. with black cops shooting unarmed white women who support President Trump.
In fact, it seems that the black police officer who murdered Ashli Babbit is getting away scot free.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) will not pursue charges against the U.S. Capitol Policeofficer who allegedly shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the Jan. 6 riot in Washington, D.C., officials announced Wednesday.
An investigation conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia determined “that there is insufficient evidence to support a criminal prosecution,” the department said in a statement.
Authorities had considered for months whether criminal charges were appropriate for the Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Babbitt, 35, an Air Force veteran from San Diego. The Justice Department’s decision, though expected, officially closes out the investigation.
Prosecutors said they had reviewed video of the shooting, along with statements from the officer involved and other officers and witnesses, examined physical evidence from the scene and reviewed the autopsy results.
“Specifically, the investigation revealed no evidence to establish that, at the time the officer fired a single shot at Ms. Babbitt, the officer did not reasonably believe that it was necessary to do so in self-defense or in defense of the Members of Congress and others evacuating the House Chamber,” prosecutors said.’
This has to be one of the most disgusting double standards in the history of the nation. The shooting of Ashli Babbit should be condemned with the same enthusiasm as any shooting of an unarmed American by the police. There are many conclusions that could be drawn from this decision, but I think the main one is not about race, but rather that murdering unarmed people is perfectly fine if the shooter can claim they were protecting the ‘royal court’ ie our ‘elected representatives.’
Ashely Babbit was a veteran who made a very poor decision on January 6th when she entered the Capitol without authorization. She deserves justice and you don’t get justice without due process and a trial. How about we let a jury decide instead of Pelosi’s police force. However, I guess that is too much to ask when it’s a female, veteran, Trump supporter who is lying in the morgue.
