Reports are coming out naming the defector who has been giving information on the Wuhan Lab and the Chinese military’s role in the pandemic. He is being identified as Dong Jingwei.
Dong landed in California, where he contacted the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency. He informed officials that he was defecting and that he had valuable intelligence that he was anxious to pass on.
Dong landed in the United States two weeks ago with his daughter. He and his daughter were hiding in plain sight and then he just disappeared. He has been filling in the DIA on what he knows.
Dong was close to Chinese President Xi. He was China’s leader in counterintelligence. In other words, his job was to track down spies. He could well be the highest-ranking Chinese official to have ever defected to the United States. His information could be invaluable.
The Daily Beast report states:
Dong’s defection was raised by Chinese officials last March at the Sino-American summit in Alaska, according to Dr. Han Lianchao, a former Chinese foreign ministry official before defecting after the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. In a Wednesday tweet, Han, citing an unnamed source, alleged that China’s foreign minister Wang Yi and Communist Party foreign affairs boss Yang Jiechi demanded that the Americans return Dong, and U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken refused.
It is believed that it was information from Dong that forced the Biden administration to finally admit Trump was right and they were wrong all along. Ouch. I’ll bet that will leave a mark. That is now rapidly becoming the consensus.
Up until a few weeks ago Democrats and its conspiratorial press referred to it as a conspiracy theory. was that because they thought it was or because they automatically oppose anything Trump.
Dong allegedly supplied the U.S. with “information about the Wuhan Institute of Virology that changed the stance of the Biden administration concerning the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Red State reports, “Not only does Dong have detailed information about China’s special weapons systems, the Chinese military’s operation of the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origins of SARS-CoV-2, and the Chinese government’s assets and sources within the United States; Dong has extremely embarrassing and damaging information about our intelligence community and government officials in the ‘terabytes of data’ he’s provided to the DIA.”
