Coalition of Over 200 Rabbis Move To Destroy Nancy Pelosi

A group comprising over 200 rabbis sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) denouncing her for not removing the far-left radical anti-Semitic Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from her committee assignment on the Foreign Affairs Committee after she made remarks last week comparing the United States and Israel to terrorists.

You have to be off your rocker to make such a comparison. Considering that her friends in Hamas launch rockets at innocent civilians while Israel and the US do not, it’s a comparison made only by someone who suffers delusions.

That’s where the Jew-haters always conflate the two sides. Hamas will fire rockets at innocent Israelis in their neighborhoods and the Israeli military will respond by firing at the rocket launchers. They go out of their way to minimize civilian casualties but lunatics like Ilhan Omar equate the two situations. One is an attack based on hatred of Jews while the other is retaliation to defend their homeland.

Fox News got a copy of the letter where the group spells out that they initially warned the Speaker back in 2019 against having Omar placed on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

The Coalition for Jewish Values said that they embraced the speaker’s comments last month when she denounced Omar and the rockets being fired on Israel, but they warned Pelosi that neglecting to “reverse [Omar’s] committee appointment would send the message to the world that you were ‘tolerating this hatred in the Democratic party.’”

Pelosi has been a burning fire of hatred in the Democratic Party for quite some time now. And she’s their leader in the House. For one example of many, just take a look at how she treated President Donald Trump and all of his supporters in America since 2016. She’s so full of hate that she ordered two impeachments based on their own evidence proving Trump did nothing wrong. That’s hatred. Now, she’s hell-bent on accusing every Trump supporter at the January 6 event of being white supremacist terrorists even though we know for a fact that it was a very minute group of people from that large crowd that actually entered the Capitol building with the overwhelming majority of those being let in by Capitol police who opened doors, removed barricades, and waved people inside. We’ve seen enough videos to prove it.

So when people try to warn Pelosi about the perception of her tolerating hatred in the Democratic Party that’s like threatening her with a good time.

“In this, you stand in the tradition of your father, a staunch advocate for the safety of Jews in Europe and the Holy Land. But recent events involving Rep. Omar have demonstrated that our apprehension was in no way exaggerated,” the group continued. “Failure to act at this juncture would allow antisemitism to not only fester in Congress, but also inflame it in cities across America.”

That’s okay. The Democrats will just blame non-existent white supremacists for any attacks on American Jews. It’s their go-to straw man excuse.

The Coalition for Jewish Values explained:

Rep. Omar’s unfounded assertion that Israel committed “unthinkable atrocities” by defending lives against an openly genocidal terror organization is not merely offensive, it is pernicious—for it is grounded in the blood libel and the calumny that Jews poisoned wells during the Black Death. Throughout the generations, rivers of blood have been shed by mobs motivated by the incendiary myth of the murderous Jew.

Without anything resembling a forceful response from the Democratic Party, tolerance of anti-Jewish hatred has proliferated. When 12 Jewish Democrats in the House rightfully denounced Rep. Omar’s abhorrent bigotry, the Congressional Progressive Caucus stooped to playing identity politics, cravenly insinuating that the motivation for the condemnation was opposition to Rep. Omar as a “Black, Muslim woman” rather than her antisemitic animus.

Rep. Omar has stated that you and your Congressional colleagues are incapable of objectively adjudicating her claims of “unthinkable atrocities” committed by the U.S. military; that is the basis for her demand that the International Criminal Court (ICC) intervene. Her later “clarification” contradicts what she said in committee, for she indeed equated democracies with terror organizations, and, importantly, the ICC’s purview does not extend to “democratic countries with well-established judicial systems.” If her “clarification” is to be taken at face value, it is an admission that her statements were baseless. Thus your reply that Rep. Omar “has a point that she wanted to make, and she has a right to make that point” is both acceptance of bigotry and an abdication of leadership.

The group went on to point out that Jewish Americans are being attacked around the country both day and night and the attackers are being “incited” (there’s a word Democrats love to use) by Omar’s rhetoric, “Yet the Congressional Progressive Caucus claims that it is Rep. Omar who is facing ‘threats.’” This is what is insufferable to American Jews. To dismiss actual physical attacks on a group of people by projecting back onto them is why the group of rabbis say they are “appalled.”

The rabbis are nonpartisan when it comes to condemning elected officials for anti-Semitic comments, as they reminded Pelosi that they condemned Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) two times when she made what they referred to as “insensitive remarks.” In Taylor Greene’s situation, she didn’t come out and attack Jews at all, rather, she made a comparison of Democrat orders in blue states and cities to control the American people for over a year, like forcing the wearing of masks and lockdowns and school closings, and now discussions of forcing people to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, etc., to the Nazis. What she said was, “Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear a gold star,” obviously referring to Democrat talk about vaccination passports.

While her comments weren’t made to invite people to attack Jews, the way claiming Jews are the evil of the world and are no better than the Taliban and Hamas terrorists do, Taylor Greene made a full apology for her remarks and said that she visited the Holocaust Museum and that made her realize that the comments she made, while not degrading the Jewish people, does cheapen the horrors of what happened to the Jews under the Nazis. After her visit to the museum, the representative from Georgia said that she was “truly sorry,” and wants to “own” her mistakes, adding, “There is no comparison to the Holocaust.” We have no such mea culpa from Omar.

The coalition of rabbis wrote that to be able to “protect Jewish Americans and, moreover, safeguard the integrity of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, we thus insist upon the removal of Rep. Omar from her appointment.”

They shouldn’t hold their breath. Nancy Pelosi at this point is not going to do anything to make it appear that the Democrats have done anything wrong. For political reasons, she may talk to Omar and try to let their complaints blow over.
