Biden On The Ropes! GOP Lawmakers About To Land KO Punch

If there is anything Biden hates, it’s being held accountable for his actions. The killer-in-chief has blamed everyone, including the previous administration, for his mistakes. It’s almost become a joke how quickly the guy who once said “the buck stops with me” will blame Trump for his woes— Be it the border crisis, pandemic, or his recent screw-up in Afghanistan. He just can’t handle the responsibility of being chief.

That’s why I found it absolutely hilarious that 41 Congressmen issued a letter to hold Biden accountable. The letter expressed concerns for the unvetted immigrants brought over from Afghanistan. It also demands a better count on the number of Americans still stranded in the Taliban-ridden country:

“We are concerned that inadequate criminal and security background checks are being performed by the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of State on evacuees in their country of origin, and in other countries in which they have resided or to which they traveled before being brought to the United States,” the U.S. representatives, led by Rep. Yvette Herrell, R-N.M., wrote in the letter.

The letter goes on to insist that Biden make good on his promise and America’s obligation to assist “Afghan nationals and their families who have risked their lives to support U.S. and Coalition forces, applied for the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program, and are now fleeing the Taliban.”

The Congressmen also added that DHS needs to be held accountable for properly vetting refugees. This is especially important now as we reach the anniversary of 9/11— The terrorist attack that got us into Afghanistan in the first place:

“DHS has released illegal aliens screened under the same U.S. government databases who were wanted for murder, as well as known MS-13 members,” the Republicans wrote. “DHS cannot reliably assess the criminal background of a person from Bolivia, let alone Helmand Province. In fact, this vetting has already failed in the case of Afghan nationals. An Afghan male convicted of rape in the United States and deported by DHS was evacuated from Kabul, allowed to enter the United States, and not caught until he arrived at Washington Dulles International Airport.”

The letter gives Biden a deadline to meet. They requested he provides detailed information by September 15th. Something tells me he’ll ignore this letter. In which case it will be more kenneling to the fire building underneath him.
