A rightfully outraged business owner told Biden supporters to kick rocks declaring that she doesn’t want or need their business. Angie Ugarte is the owner of DeBary Diner in Florida and says many of her customers are military veterans and she refuses to seat a Biden supporter in her restaurant.
A sign posted in the window of the DeBary Diner flatly tells would-be customers to turn around if they back Biden and his administration following Thursday’s attack by ISIS-K at the Kabul airport, WOFL reported.
“If you voted for and continue to support and stand behind the worthless, inept and corrupt administration currently inhabiting the White House that is complicit in the death of our servicemen and women in Afghanistan, please take your business elsewhere,” the blunt notice reads.
Ugarte noted that the Biden administration was “corrupt” and “complicit in the death of our servicemen and women in Afghanistan.” She told said that she felt it was the only thing she could do, adding that she was angry and “was just let down.”
“If you really, really still stand behind what’s allowed this to happen and the way it happened – which was unnecessary then I really don’t want to be associated with you in any way and I certainly don’t want your business,” she told FOX 35 News.
Many Americans feel the same as Ugarte and that outrage is not lost on lawmakers who share in their disgust after Biden broke yet another promise. Don’t think it’s one-sided—Biden’s failed planning that left hundreds of Americans in Afghanistan hit both sides of the aisle.
“Hundreds of Americans and thousands of our Afghan allies have been left behind enemy lines. This is not a mission accomplished, this is a complete disgrace,” Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), who authored a bill that would’ve compelled U.S. forces to stay in Afghanistan until every willing evacuee got out, said in a statement Monday evening.
“America’s last flight left Afghanistan, even though we still don’t know the total number of Americans trapped behind enemy lines — it’s unforgivable,” added Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.).
It’s not just Republicans: Many Democratic lawmakers privately expressed frustration to NatSec Daily that President Joe Biden and his team didn’t evacuate every U.S. citizen who wanted out before ending the military mission. But, despite many attempts by NatSec Daily to get them on the record, none wanted to be seen as bashing the president over a broken promise.
