BREAKING: Authorities Announce Laundrie Autopsy Results, Mystery Gets Even More Bizarre

VIA: Newsmax

If you have been following the case of the murder of Gabby Petito, last week was a tough break for her family as the only person who possibly could tell us what happened was discovered dead as well.

The remains of Brian Laundrie, Petito’s boyfriend or fiancé, were discovered in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, not far from his parents’ home where he was living. Laundrie’s belongings were scattered around the area of the body. Authorities said his remains were in an area that until recently was underwater.

Laundrie came home on September 1 and Gabby was not with him. Laundrie then left his North Port home on September 13, just two days after Petito was reported missing by her parents.

Petito’s remains were discovered on September 19 near a campsite in Wyoming some 2,000 miles away, where the couple traveled in late August on a cross-country road trip.

Laundrie had disappeared into the park only hours before the discovery of Gabby’s body.

By Laundrie taking off and not cooperating with police and investigators looking into Petito’s disappearance and a charge for Laundrie using one of Petito’s credit cards, that created red flags for many people following the case.

For a lot of true crime folks who have speculated about this case in search for answers, it seems that Laundrie’s remains aren’t really helping solve much.

From Yahoo! News:

Brian Laundrie’s remains were sent to an anthropologist “for further evaluation” after autopsy results came back inconclusive, the family’s attorney said.

“No manner or cause of death was determined,” the lawyer, Steven Bertolino, said in a statement to NBC News.

Bertolino said he was not given a timeline for when the anthropologist will conclude the evaluation of Laundrie’s remains, which he said will ultimately be cremated.

Bertolino added that Laundrie’s family has no immediate plans for a funeral, although it may decide on a private ceremony later.

“The family is grieving privately somewhere in Florida,” he said.

Laundrie’s remains were depicted as “skeletal” by authorities, and it was later revealed that his dental records were used to confirm the positive identification.

Last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) spoke with Gabby’s father, Joe Petito, and expressed his support for the Petito family and for their efforts to help other victims. The Petito family started the Gabby Petito Foundation, which is designed to help victims of domestic violence and missing persons.

“I was able to speak to Gabby Petito’s father yesterday, just checking up to see how he’s doing and see if there’s anything we can do to help,” DeSantis said at a rally in Florida on Thursday. “He feels really strongly that there’s more that can be done to protect people like Gabby, who were victims of domestic violence, and I agree with him.

The Laundrie home has been swamped with reporters and protesters who believe the family knows more about what happened than they are revealing to authorities over Petito’s murder, and so the family is said to be grieving in an undisclosed location somewhere in Florida.
