Chris Cuomo, brother of serial groper Andrew Cuomo has been suspended by CNN indefinitely. The suspension came not because he used his position at CNN to defend his brother. He was suspended because he got caught using his position to defend his brother.
During the investigation into Andrew Cuomo, emails surfaced that showed he was trying to control the narrative and that he supplied his brother’s administration with what appears to be opposition research on Andrew’s accusers.
CNN may use this opportunity to get rid of Cuomo altogether. They are planning on getting rid of all of the commentators and to return to a news-only format. This way they do not have to buy his contract out.
Andrew Cuomo was in his third term when women began coming forward and accused him of acting inappropriately towards them sexually. At least a dozen women came forward with accusations. The state Assembly investigated the complaints and they found them to be credible. The Assembly also found that he had fudged the number of the elderly who died in nursing homes due to his order to send COVID positive patients into those homes.
