The DC jail system, specifically the unit for January 6 defendants, is known as the “DC Gitmo” and is by all accounts a political prisoner dungeon for those arrested for the January 6 riot, whether they participated in the riot or not.
One such person held in the DC Gitmo is Ryan Nicholas, a Marine veteran from Texas. He is being held inside the special unit for the January 6 defendants. Nicholas is being held indefinitely with no bail. The Marine was sent through five jails within the timeframe a little shy of two months until he was eventually sent to DC Gitmo, where on March 9 he was placed in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day.
Mr. Nichols is an honorably discharged US Marine. Marines are Marines for the rest of their lives. You never stop being a Marine. Nicholas is a defendant who is now facing charges related to his participation in riots that took place at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
On Monday, Nichols went before Reagan appointed Judge Thomas Hogan in a DC court. During the hearing, the judge agreed with the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) that Nichol’s torture of solitary confinement is okay when using COVID as an excuse.
The Democrats have done such a good job of playing out the lies that an “insurrection” took place on January 6 that people are afraid to even counter them. That was the Democrats’ mission, to silence any opposition to their hyping up what happened that day.
Don’t get me wrong. The two-and-a-half-hour riot that took place should never have happened, and I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole. But the real insurrection happened on November 3, 2020 and that’s why the protest took place on January 6. That is the reason for all the hype about January 6. It is a smokescreen to take the focus off of the election. To this day, media and others in on it claim that any talk about election irregularities are false and are made without any evidence even though there are mountains of evidence collected from numerous states that held legislature hearings on the irregularities found during the 2020 election. Folks, that’s the truth.
The government, the media, no one was listening to the state-by-state protests that there were serious irregularities in the election that appeared intentional and criminal. People went to the January 6 protest to let their voices be heard because that was the day the state elections were being certified. It can not be denied that there was a blackout by the mainstream news media and that social media was censoring anyone who said anything about the election. Frustration breeds a protest.
The DC court is going along with the DOJ in believing that any talk about the 2020 election being stolen is forbidden speech and it is perfectly legal to use it against the political prisoners at the DC Gitmo.
What was Nichol’s crime? He was seen on January 6 rescuing a police officer. He also participated in some of the riot. For that, he has been sitting in a torture cell for 23 hours a day.
Much of what the Democrats are calling the riot were people who walked around the Capitol building taking selfies. This is why Speaker Nancy Pelosi refuses to release the over 14,000 hours of video feed from the Capitol. She doesn’t want the world seeing what actually happened that day. She wants them to rely on the myths the Democrats have fabricated. You would think the January 6 Committee would provide the videos, and not just those cherry picked by Democrats, as evidence of what happened that day. Video evidence is usually very compelling, so it speaks volumes to see that they’re blocking the video feeds from getting out.
Judge Hogan, on Monday, ordered the release of three hours of Capitol surveillance video from the west terrace tunnel on January 6. That was where there were battles between Trump supporters and police. I personally saw footage where Trump supporters were up against barriers with police on the other side and no one was interacting with anyone on either side. Then, suddenly, I saw a cop reach across the barricade and hit a Trump supporter, which made the Trump supporter face him and ask him why he did that. The cop acted like “Yeah, I hit you and what are you going to do about it?” as if he was egging him on. It was a remarkable scene. Technically, I’m not allowed to talk about that even though I saw the video with my own eyes.
Depending on whether or not the DC cops alter the video footage before complying with the judge’s order, this could be a big deal, because so far the Biden DOJ and the January 6 Committee Politburo members have cherry picked video clips to match up to their lying narrative about what really happened that day. Those Democrats, including Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who make up the Republican wing of the Democratic Party, are desperate to not allow any truth to get out about what really happened on January 6. Perhaps after the Republicans win back the House and possibly the Senate, we can finally get to the truth?
